Miss Tina I must say I love you and your sister Erica there have been many times where I have had to turn to your music to help me through what I was going through. I am writing because of something you said in this interview. A few months ago my husband and I were falling apart in a way I never would have imagined. No it wasn't what you went through but we really had gotten to a point where we could be around each other without arguing. It was so bad that one day I said enough is enough and without giving it any thought I tried to end my life I just didn't care any more. I was put in the hospital for a few day to get some help so while I was there I screamed at God because I felt it was his fault. I cried almost everyday I was at the hospital because I was so broken and I felt like trash that had been thrown away. One day I cried out to God asking him to speak to me I wanted to know if I was still loved and if I was still his child. KInda out of the blue my younger sister comes to the hospital with her bible and she leaves it for me. When I got home I opened it and I started to look for the answers to the many questions I had. When I found what I was looking for it was like being hit with a ton of bricks all my questions were answered and I began to cry. It was like God was standing there talking to me telling me he had never left me and that he always loved me even when I turned away from him. Now my husband and I are communicating better we still have bad days were we aren't on the same page but none of what we did in the past. We work as a team now where we didn't before. Now if I tell him I am stressed he jumps up and he handles what ever I can't handle. He gives me my space when I need it and I do all the same for him. I am more understanding of him. Our life has gotten so much better and I am so in love with my husband, my family, and myself now more then ever. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the music that got me through what I was going through. I mean it when I say your music is a big reason why I decided to get help. If it wasn't for what you and your sister have done I wouldn't be in this world any more I would have taken my life. Today my baby girl still has her mother and my husband still has the wonderful and beautiful woman he married. Your song destination is a mirror of what I was going through and I am not what I use to be I am a new woman and God is my foundation. Tell her to open up the bible and start reading. Go to the gospels, maybe John. Go to Psalms. If her focus is him, then only he can fix her. But if her focus is on God, God will rebuild what the devil tried to destroy which is her life. The departed husband or the marriage shouldn't be the focus. Once her focus is on her and God, she'll begin healing. My books has all the prayers you can imagine with all the scriptures to back them. Im sure it would be helpful. The Jesus fast you are describing is the Isaiah 58 fast please read the kjv version . Hunny that is a real fast. The Bible said in Isaiah 58:6 it breaks the bands of of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free. Keep telling you testimony. :)
