Judging from the audience's reaction, I think they didn't cut to Steve's wife until a few seconds after we saw her on the jumbo screen. We see her & Steve for a few seconds and there's no reaction from the audience. Then suddenly there's a big laugh from everyone. They must have edited it in post to show them earlier than when the audience actually saw them up there.

I recently revisited Annie Hall after many years and for the first time thought that the young Diane Keaton resembles Julie Delpy in some scenes. And then I realized Keaton usually covers her forehead but in this film there are a few scenes when she doesn’t, and that’s when I thought of the resemblance.

I always thought the scene in Baby Mama where Martin, as Tina's boss, rewards her for her work with a few moments of his undivided attention was Steve passing the torch, career-wise, to Tina, since I consider her the real heir apparent to him, at least in the sense that they are two performers who from the beginning, wrote their own way to opportunities, whether in screenplays (Roxanne, Mean Girls) or essays or books.
