My favorite guitar player ever! She played electric guitar for only 4yrs and 5mns, and she slays the guitar like a 40 year old veteran. Her classical background has helped her tremendously. That's why she hardly looks at the guitar when playing. She was taught to read music while playing and, so, most of what she plays is by muscle memory. If she continues to play over the coming years, I thinks she will be the best ever! Good luck in the future Tina, from one of your biggest fans.

Most people seem to prefer her playing the blindingly fast tracks like Through the Fire and Flames, but I think her best cover was Steve Vai's "For the love of God". The feeling that she puts into that is incredible.

Jason's end level is when you can cover "Mabel's Fatal Fable" in its entirety while doing it justice (no shortcuts). This is the only worthy mid-section cover of it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX7SpIhvdtZ4esk and this amazing dude from Japan took liberties skipping the intro and outro with insane whammy work, he was probably studying this for years, maybe you've seen high quality Jason Becker covers from @Desafinados and when someone asked him to cover "Mabel's Fatal Fable" in comments his response was "(laugh) that song is unplayable"

Harrison, great to see you getting back into Tina S. Altitudes has become one of my favorite covers of hers. For the Love of God is my other so I hope thats on your list. I'm not a big Vai fan but she takes it and adds changes that I love. Also would recommend reading up on Jason Becker and his story. Hope you and the family are doing well. By the way, Tina was 16 in this video I believe. So little younger than the Beethoven cover, but older than Through the Fire and Flames.

Yea that's amazing but Jason was that age when he was COMPOSING this in 1980s. That's even crazier. I think Ayu Gusfanz was 14-15 when she made her cover of Altitudes, even younger than Tina and I like Ayu's version more because she harmonized like Jason on the album as well as well as remaking a nice backing track from scratch.
