There were many who wanted to imitate her, but hardly anyone, a guitar player, managed to play it like that. A music professor listened to it, slowed it down, and came to the conclusion that all the notes were played, all the phrasing, everything. She didn't leave anything out. An absolute masterpiece!!

17 when she made this video. This one and her cover of Through the Fire and Flames get the most attention, but I love her covers of For the Love of God, Altitudes, and The Loner. And of course the one that started it all, her cover of Eruption at the age of 14. Wonderful seeing Tina again and just knowing she's still playing.

Thanks for getting back on my suggestion so quickly! And great that you enjoyed it! I discovered Tina about the same time as Angelina Jordan, about 2.5 years ago. But while Angelina was very active, and gave us on average like 30 new songs/performances each year, it was all silence from Tina. Thus, it was great to see that she's back, and now with original music. Some fans are disappointed that her focus does not seem to be on progressive, highly technical stuff any more. That's also an issue some fans have with Angelina, that her focus shifted from traditional jazz to a more contemporary style (retro pop or jazzy pop) in her recently releases. But I think the majority of both fan groups do understand that they develop and move on with what they like to do most! And they are still both great! Here's a KZbin playlist for all 3 tracks from Tina's/Spin Twice's new EP: kzbin.info/aero/PLddfS789jBCrWYbKQJ0d6DGq4put0tIkN&si=-lpmnKFBMyEqRKWW

You are welcome, thank you for the awesome suggestion! I can understand some fans being disappointed but the thing with technical progressive stuff like that is it can be a bit daunting and really take the fun out of just playing guitar. Sometimes you wanna just rock out and not have to do these riffs that cram a gazillion notes in a minute ...lol.. She is very skilled without a doubt and has really just begun in the scheme of things. I have a feeling she still has quite a bit more up her sleeve yet to show the world! I watched a few seconds of the video she had on her YT page just by hovering over the thumbnail it looked pretty cool cant wait to check them out thank you for the link I really appreciate it!!!

Tina S is back, in a new band, Spin Twice, and they released their first song yesterday! 😂 She is 24 now and wants to focus more on enjoying creating her music with her band than playing very technical solos.

And seeing that you have expressed an openness to exploration in all music, may I suggest in the coming weeks a follow up with fifteen guys on electrics playing three hundred year old music. Yep, she's back and what I've heard is pretty good, although completely different from when she did covers. She was (and certainly still is) ultimately talented. I see you've placed the link to her new band "Spin Twice" in the description. Below some links to her covers - my absolute favorite being "For the love of god" - even Steve Vai wrote she played it better than he did. Oh, fun fact: she studied under jazz-rock guitarist Renaud Louis-Servais, and Dany from The Warning also took lessons from him. 8 years of practice - www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXotd... Hi, did you noticed: To make it the best guitar performance possible and get the best tone, or sound, Tina (in the blink of an eye) switches 7 times from the neck pickup to the bridge pickup and vice versa, in a very specific part of the 3rd movement. If you concentrate, you might see it or hear a very slight noticeable change of tone. God, how much more precise tone-wise can you get.
