For me as a person that's been playing for 21 years, this is the most important performance in the art of guitar. I read a biography of Paco's a couple years ago that his friend wrote, and the most humbling aspect I took away from the book was that Paco, especially in his early years, suffered from impostor syndrome and a feeling that he's overall not that great of a guitarist. Reading that about someone of that caliber was incredibly inspiring for me. Paco de Lucia was the God of guitar and all other fellow guitarists are mere disciples.

Its always amazing that the most incredible of musicians or artists have a lesser view of themselves than all of the fans and people around them! Paco was indeed the guitar personified without a doubt! He is the bar to which all others are held to!

I agree... I hope this is not a fad either. I remember in the early-mid 90s there was a surge in female artists...ie Lillith Fair, etc. Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman and 10,000 Maniacs (maybe Indigo Girls too) were already established just before that happened, but then a few years later came .... Liz Phair, Alanis Morissette, Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Sarah McLachlan, Fiona Apple, Sonny Colvin, Tori Amos, Joan Osborne, The Corrs, The Cranberries, Hole, Garbage.. and they all kind of went away by the end of the decade. (of course so did a lot of things, thanks to Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, etc) But in the mid 2000s came Evanescence/Amy Lee, and later Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, .. then all female BabyMetal, Band Maid, The Warning.. and now Plush. (I know there were others I'm leaving out). I also hope we're at the point where an all-female band isn't seen as a gimmick anymore.

Yeah we had a real diverse amount of music to choose from but I think part of the problem with that generation of artists is that they got either driven into the ground or screwed over by their labels and then when everything stated to change most all of them were just over it by then! I really hope they stick around for a while because we have such an awesome amount of different metal and musics coming from the amazing female bands but making a living has become harder and harder in the music world even for the biggest of bands! Thats why we see so many touring on festivals these days! Hopefully these bands can last through it and things will change for the better in that regard

Yeah they are just so kick ass! Very underrated for sure! They remind me of an awesome female band from the 90s called Drain STH, you should check them out if you havent heard of them! I think the singer (or one of them) is married to Geezer Butler the bassist of Black Sabbath. Thank you for the suggestion I look forward to checking it out! Reading the lyrics, it's hard to understand if it's just commentary or reinforcing conspiracy theories. There are a few contradictions but the chorus seems to be a song for the right wing.

Deberías echar un vistazo a una banda española llamada " Los Suaves" probablemente la mejor banda en directo de rock español... porque la mejor banda de Rock español siempre será Extremoduro pero los directos dejaban un poco que desear...Robe no se caracterizaba por ser una persona responsable 😂😂😂😂
