I had the privilege of meeting her one day in the early 1970’s ( she was newly separated from Ike) she came into the Beverly Hills Bath Boutique where i worked. She purchased $700.00 in 15 minutes. I was her sales girl. she was a very nice quiet almost demure lady. Very nice and very friendly. then she came back 3 days later and purchased another $750.00 in towels in 15 min. I’ll never forget her. She was a very nice lady.

I used to volunteer in Berkeley CA in 1976 to usher people to seats. I will NEVER forget the rainy night that she performed. So few people showed up, that as show started I got to sit in front row! She put on the best performance ever. And she walked to my friend and me and smiled and said "Thank you ladies. I hope you are having a good time!" Holy crap.

I've been reading it was actually a struggle for her in some cases to make it as a rock star in the 80s, some people still tried to hold her back! and yet she soared Straight to the Top- no matter what!!!! She is essentially the Legend!!!! Wow! But yes, once she made it things did get a lot better, she found love and happiness!!!! and had the sense to settle in Switzerland where they let her live a normal life too! She's an inspiration!

Tina Turner is my favourite Lady Artist...since I first heard her album in the early 80s I was smitten by this beautiful woman. Such energy...such talent & such a pure soul. I have to mention those legs...there is no way anyone can think of Tina & not mention...those legs! OMG...when I moved to Toronto & I heard that she was doing a concert at the CNE grounds we purchased tickets right away. I'll never forget that performance! The atmosphere pre concert was a mix of excitement, anticipation, love & RESPECT! I'll never forget it when that white stretch limo drive across the field & stopped behind the stage. There was such a feeling of power resonating from that car...you knew that SHE...arrived! It's kind of hard to explain it. Then...out Ms. Turner came...to a thundering applause! 👋👋👋. What I experienced was a show that I couldn't stop thinking or talking about for years. Tina Turner who was in her 40s I believe mid-40s...did not dissapoint! She owned that stage & the entire audience! I was in awe at how someone who was almost my mother's age worked that stage in stilettos...dancing & singing effortlessly every song that we had listened to & partied to sooo many times. The thing that impressed me most was that even though it was a live performance...it was studio quality! God Bless you 🙏 Tina & thank you for being such a great person who kept her all of us fans in awe of just what an excellent person you were as well as one of the most amazingly talented people the World has ever known! 😭🤗❤️🙏👋👋👋

One of the greatest memories I have is taking my Dad & at that time, 16 year old daughter to see this LEGEND. She's correct, she's a performer first, singer 2nd but both equal out of this world talent. She's without a doubt the best & most iconic concert I have ever been to, & 2nd was Celine Dion. Tina had Joe Cocker open for her & that was freaking awesome too. My daughter is 36 years old now & she still talks about seeing Tina & how iconic it was for her. My Daddy bought her a T-shirt of course & she painted it on canvas & it looks just like the T-shirt. ❤🙆‍♂️💯 Still blessed & thankful to have seen this Legend 💞 Love you Ms. Turner Oh yeah, her dancers was flawless just like Tina & the band for Joe & Tina was a full fledge orchestral with the Saxophone's & horns on blast. I kid you not, we ALL had goose bumps the entire show & that's NEVER happened to any of us before. 🤩🤩🤩😍😍
