RIP to the incredible Tina Turner. She overcame poverty, racism, and an abusive marriage and absolutely triumphed on her own terms. I listened to to her music a lot and this song was amazing and was one of the best of the 80s. My daughter was just a toddler at the time and she sang it constantly, with all of her 3-year old passion . . . "What's love da-da-doo, da-da-doo." ❤

Tina is and always will be the queen of rock! She did it all, she can sing ballads, rnb and then rock it out like no one else all while dancing and getting the crowd going crazy. You just need to see her live performances in Rio, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Wembley where she did it all. I can’t even fathom how much energy, coordination and balance she had. At Wembley she was 60yo and she put on a 2hr show and danced for 3/4 of it! I recommend reacting to her when she did Nutbush (Wembley 2000), she was running and dancing on an metal arm that extended out over the audience, no harness or anything. How many artists can do what she does wearing a short dresses and heels! No one has anything on her. She’s singing, dancing interacting with the crowd, her band and dancers, there’s so much going in on her shows. She was incredible! Love to you Tina 🧡

She started again at 44 doing her own stuff, for herself, no Ike anymore, she did a concert and wore her,Thunderdome, mad max 3, costume at 69 years old. How many years did she do all that so well in high heels, that's tough. Australia loves her Nutbush, we danced to it at so many parties since it came out. I saw an interview on aussie Telly with Jimmy Barnes (legend), who did, Simply the best, with her, for the aussie footy ads. He saw her on stage as a kid, loved what she did, sang along with women on the radio, she was the best one for him, and learned to do vocal squalls like her, he sings high as well. They sound great together.

I grew up with Tina turner, went through my teens during the 70s decade. "Proud Mary" and her performance was an iconic hit! Would love it if you guys could react to her original performance of "Proud Mary". Even though Ike was part of that, nobody ever talked about him until the abuse came out publicly. Thanks for this great tribute, guys!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaCaoqiketCgsKc Tina is edged in my childhood with this collab with Eros Ramazzotti(also a living legend in Europe and South America). I just loved her energy on stage.. she had so much passion and I am so glad she got the flowers she deserved and worked for while she was alive and well. Happy that she lived to see all of it. She performed with Beyonce where she was honoured. Plus the movie and musical introduced us to other talented people I still follow and admire. I don't idolize her because we all have flaws, but her talent and performance is so inspirational. ❤
