Finn...what can I say... If it was not for your blonde hair and light complexion, one would think you are a Filipino. You've lived like a Filipino, you travelled like Filipino, you eat Filipino foods, you bathe like the locals with no running water, and more importantly, you interact like Filipino. Hey Finn. I think there is only one thing left you need to do before you leave Philippines. You need to ride on top of a jeep. Or hang just outside the backend of the jeep. You do this then you can say that you truly experienced it all. Nah....you don't have to do it, it's too dangerous!

Tinago Falls is a beautiful place. I was there in 2015. You should have checked out Marienor Mountain Resort and Tomalistis Falls while you were there. Tomalistis is a little harder to get to as it is only accessible by banka. It is a lovely falls that comes right down to the sea and is known as the sweetest water in the Philippines.

Next Destination, Samar. Please ☺️ .. It's only a one ride away from Leyte .You just need to cross the longest bridge in the philippines , known as "San Juanico Bridge" and it's less touristy too.

I thought it was in Iligan City coz there is also Tinago falls in Iligan City but the only difference is you have to go down the winding stairs with 500 descending steps if I'm not mistaken in order to reach the waterfall. Ma. Cristina falls also is there, one of the famous waterfall in the Philippines, but I'm not from Iligan I am from Cebu.

WOW you're in Region 8 ( samar/leyte islands). you're now near my province Samar. by the way leyte and samar islands are connected with the longest bridge in the Philippines called San Juanico bridge. locals there speak cebuano and waray. enjoy your stay in my region. God bless.
