Progress that AI made in last 2 years is the reason why we are, for the first time in human history, in position that smartest ones among us have 0 clue what will world look like in 10 years and which skills and knowledge will be crucial and which ones will be obsolete in a decade. Quite an interesting time to be alive!
@piotrek76336 ай бұрын
We're in a position that literally nobody knows what to learn to keep up, theres simply too much stuff. From what i've seen, ai prompting and agents are a must to learn, other tools are not necesesary but they may be useful
@mylesprospero81056 ай бұрын
with so much money invested in AI arms race and the development speed especially with new Devin tool, might as well give up and be a founder using these tools
@SUREILLBYTE6 ай бұрын
@@piotrek7633 I wouldn't say it's too much to learn, at least in my case. The major problem is decision paralysis as I don't know what to learn/prioritize that will still be worth it in the next 5-10 years. Really shitty feeling.
@user-wb1hp3ti4n5 ай бұрын
Prompting will go out the window within a couple years as ai gets more advanced, it will know what you mean without the need for the prompts, especially if you get the chip in your head lol
@MrExguru5 ай бұрын
This is 1000% spot on. Spent 12 months trying to learn a skill that eventually became obsolete/oversaturated, thanks to A.I making life 'easier' for everyone, incl the target market. It's damn near frustrating.
@philosyche4 ай бұрын
my issue with using ai as a productivity tool to do your entire job like researching and presenting data, is that at that point the definition of productivity itself becomes meaningless. if by productivity these ai goons mean pushing as many products as quickly as possible, then productivity simply becomes mass-production, and not meaningful work done for producing meaningful products. at that point we are simply on a light-speed course along with our tons of unicode data fated to self-destruct

Ai is a expensive technology because of specialized data. Think of automated diagnostics using medical imaging. You still need an expert to diagnose specialized pathologies. Experts will use ai to segment cells because there are more publicly available cell images, but then for identifying exact patterns there is no trained ai that can replace the fewer experts available there.

I dont understand why people think that when you automate things or make tasks easier to do will result to something like you having easier life and less stressful work time. And if you automate things, it just means less reason to hire people, even you. Remember this, ***automation and ai means less or no people to hire for the same task.
