Really? I am sure she has already got enough recognition and dollars to back her up. She will definitely achieve more as time goes by and the more music that she produces. Good luck to her. I really do love this song though, it is very inspiring and emotional and the video clip to it was absolutely emotional. It reminds me a bit of that song: “Burn Rihanna featuring Eminem” I have noticed though in some of her other video clips that she would be smoking a cigarette, which definitely is very bad taste )-: if she wants to keep her beautiful voice, which is definitely her livelihood then she should look after it, her vocals is her powerful instrument and definitely smoking, drinking and drug taking definitely is just a bad image but in the long run she may not be able to sing that good anymore. (That is just an opinion anyway).

Her visuals come off as extremely expensive and I think the placement of the money is the problem in addition to them forcing her to be crossover. SweeTee Wildfire I agree but the problem with the industry is not just picking mediocre its actually the artist and their music and persona being unique. You can't have music that follows the current trends in top 40 but expect to be taken seriously. Even doe Taylor swift is considered mediocre, her music while she was coming out was nothing like anything at the time even for the current country singers. She was combining traditional country with modern popular music styles in her music and had great lyrics that used the ex boyfriend and fairytale relationships topics as metaphors for much serious themes. Same with Rihanna her way of Caribbean music, top 40 pop music and urban contemporary didn't exist until she came along and both Rih Rih and Taylor were the #1 creative masters behind their sounds. Tinashe is literally one of the most talented people in the industry right now but her music is indeed generic to urban contemporary and lacks a lot of uniqueness to really make the new "it girl" in popular music. That's the Same thing that happens to tori Kelly it likes talented and beautiful girl but musically what is she bringing to the industry??? That's the thing overall Tinashe needs a better management and creative team to really evolve her into being a unique musician and entertainer and push her into various of demographics and ventures in the entertainment industry for her to be a global pop superstar
