Since it doesn't follow the usual format maybe this one was on the day but usually they cranked them out in a booth 20 at a time or something. Just my guess. Also a booth could just be an unused conference room they way people talk about their online videos.

It just shows how funny they think eachother are. In the outtakes usually it was Jake not able to stop laughing because Amir gets him to laugh each time... it's usually Ben or Thomas that makes Amir crack!

Amir's inability to control himself and finish the take, imo, shows the true comedic genius that this show is. Y'all can bitch about the newer episodes all you want, but this one is one of my favorites! If you script this out and you analyse Jake's character, you'll understand why Amir can't control himself. This episode was downright hilarious! I don't care what anyone says!

I'd say this (and all the other outtakes) shows exactly why the more recent episodes aren't as good. They have so much fun recording, and the outtakes are always funny, but that comedy doesn't necessarily translate over to a finished sketch.

Magix I somewhat get what you're saying... or I think I do. In acting (especially comedy that requires timing), it's usually by take 2-3-4 and 5 that you're really hitting your mark. However, Jake and Amir have a tendency to break and start laughing, so their best takes are usually outtakes. That being said, I disagree that their recent episodes aren't as good. I mean you can only do so much with Jake and Amir. And I applaud them for STILL managing to keep it relatively fresh after 7-8 years of doing this. I guess it comes down to personal opinion, but episodes like this, Gardening, Double Date, Chin Strap, Muscle Tee, Corduroy Pants... are all great skits. I look forward to each episode, and I'm VERY rarely left indifferent to them...

If you aren't used to podcasts, they have ads at the beginning and middle, don't let it bother you, they do try to make it entertaining though.
