I bought this vacuum two years ago. It’s absolutely amazing. We use it several times a day on the floors, carpets, and furniture. I also want to note we dropped it the other week and broke the canister. The company sent a new one for free, and had awesome customer service. Anyone who has been over and used it love it too. 😊

Four things. 1) The beater brush head is terrible on my carpets. It is VERY sensitive to directory of pile. It's so light that it bounces off the carpet as it grabs on the carpet grain and sticks then jumps. This can be felt in the handle is not very comfortable to use. Reversing the forward pass leads to a smoother action. Backward grab is a much smaller of an issue on the hand and head; much less bounce if any. This may be show stopper for me, but I'm going to give it a try. I prefer to vacuum in the most convenient direction. 2) The included wall mount is required for charging. There is no plug on the vacuum head other than contacts that exist to touch the wall mount. So you will need to mount the wall mount or lay it on the floor and insert the vacuum head. Awkward, but possible. 3) The wall mount has a place for a second battery to charge. The battery is not included, but costs around $90. Not sure if both batteries charge at the same time, but I assume they would. 4) The app is "required" for knowing remaining time since there is no indicator of time remaining on the display. This will take some power for WiFi connectivity. This is likely the reason they even include an app; save money on display. if you care to know more precisely the run mode and time left, it's available only there. Of course, I agree it's pointless since you'll likely not be holding the vacuum in one hand while holding and watching your phone/app in the other.

Have had an S11 for a couple of years, a large house, it is excellent, light, and relatively quiet, its speed ramps up automatically as needed. We haven't used our leaded powered vacuum cleaner since. The battery has always lasted the whole house by far.

I've been lurking for a while, and this review convinced me to buy this vacuum over a Dyson. I love the vacuum so much that I've vacuumed every day since getting it (it's only been 3 days, but still!)! I've got two cats and there is always litter that my old dirt devil couldn't get rid of, but this sucks it up so easily (and without having to use the max feature). I got a Tineco A11 Master a little over a year ago and I love it. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Lightweight, quiet, usable as a surface vac as well as on floors. I use the soft roller to vacuum large surfaces like tabletops and shelves as well.

Thanks for keeping me from making a costly mistake! You are the first reviewer to mention that it's better if you spend $99 to get the brush head for floors. I saw a deal on Tineco for $279 which included an extra battery. I almost pulled the trigger. But adding $99 to the price puts it up there with the Dyson V8 cordless and close to the V11--- both which don't require switching brushes.

Have you noticed that the soft roller for the tineco doesn't actually touch the floor? I just got an A10 Tango and couldn't figure out why it was missing some tiny crumbs on the hardwood sometimes until I compared it to my corded shark duoclean. Have you noticed this in your tests? I’ve been using Tineco Tango for the past 2 months. One item sticks out, the soft roller works great on my hardwood floors but the brush roller is not great when I use it on the carpet around my drum set. Not as good as the Dyson V11 I tested, by far. Dyson was great on the carpet. Luckily apart from the drum set area, I have only hardwood floors. I love the LED lights, something Dyson did not have. And the spare battery is priceless and easy to swap. I also would wish Tineco made the pipe connector to the rollers more flexible, when I vacuum under the bed, I need to lay it side ways as the power head goes up when I lower the vacuum, something Dyson was better at.

I like this vac. Only complaint so far, the soft motorhead does not touch the floor, leaving fine dust layer on the floor.

You make the most useful videos. I did find a couple comparisons you haven't done yet though... bed vacuums like the ones with UV designee for beds and couches. And I haven't seen water filtration vacuums like Sirena

Second I think one of the hard floor tests you should do is Christmas tree needles because my Christmas tree drops so many needles and I want to know which vacuum is the best. Also can you do a review on the dyson cinetic big ball animal allergy.

I have a Tineco cordless vacuum. My only complaint is that the filter in the waste bin fills up quickly. That might be because I live in the country and have absolutely tons of dirt. At least there is a way to clean them!

I got the S10 pure after watching your review of that back when you did it and while it performed great new, it absolutely did not hold up what so ever. Started totally failing after a handful of months, and when I left a poor review for it on Amazon Tineco actually contacted me trying to bribe me with $15 to remove my review. Will never give that company my money again, will definitely stick with Dyson.

First! My brush roller on the v11 makes an odd noise and then stops spinning. Do you know why? I’m guessing the motor isn’t aligned properly. I got a new brushroller and it does the same. I’m guessing it is the motor head but I wanna see if you know anything.

I don’t mean to be overly critical, but I think it would lend your assessments well to make the carpet deep cleaning test more difficult. A stick vac performing as well as some of the best uprights out there? I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I think that highlights a big flaw in the “deep cleaning” assessment. The assessment seems to group a lot of vacuums up towards 95% or above, which leads to the false conclusion that a lot of machines actually excelling at carpet cleaning.

ah tineco, company whigh got first to auto suction levels. nice but they should move on with their filtration system which is similar to Dyson's V8 which is more labor to clean and clogs earlier

Ok, guys. As Tineco A10 owner here I see many similarities in S11. And it's not good. It doesn't have multicyclone. Yes, main cyclone does separate 95% of dust, but the other 5% goes into filter container and these 5% is a lot. Especially considered that filter container is not auto-empty like in Dyson or Dreame when it opens and empties with main bin. You need to manually remove filter to empty it. Also, because filter gets dirty very fast, it needs maintenance every month. On other hand this filter does pretty good job. I own A10 for 2 years and HEPA-filter(filter in handle) still looks as good as new. Didn't need to clean it even once. Other bad things is that after year or so of use A10 tube started to creak in place where it connects to Vacuum. And bin now not opens automatically, I need to open it by hand. Maybe it's because rubber seal become hard or spring got loose, but be aware. On good side is that Vacuum maintenance is fairly easy - every filter is easily installed and bin could be easily removed and cleaned separately. Should you but it? If you are lazy and don't want to clean bin every month then definitely a no. I got A10 for $100 and for it's price 2 years ago it was a deal. Here we got S11 for $350-400. And for such price? Just a few weeks ago everyone could buy Dreame T30 for just $300. And with such deals there just no reason to buy S11.

Fully agree, a bag-less vacuum cleaner with no multi cyclonic separation is not worth buying. The performance of my A10 in our dusty countryside home degrades precipitously as the main filter clogs up, requiring almost constant cleaning.

Huge fan of your reviews. However, I wish that you would do more comparison stuff. For example, on this review, you didn't talk about how good it is at picking up hair. On most of your other reviews you spend some time showing how a particular vacuum picks up hair. As a pet owner, I'd love to hear how the Tineco Pure One S11 Cordless handled hair. On this video? Not covered at all. Also, it would be great when you wrap to show how this vacuum compares to favorites this year. Is it better than the Dyson? You recommend it but you don't say how it compares in everyday use to some of your preferred vacuums you've reviewed. You may do this somewhere else through a link, but I think it would be super helpful to fans of VacuumWars to see how this compares (on video) to your other vacuums. Keep up the great work. Thanks!

Just wait till you find how bad the dust bin is, the dust bin in mines broke in the first 2 month (lid at the hinge broke off), moving forward its impossible to empty the dust bin without having dirt get stuck up and not waiting to go down. Good vacuum with a terrible dust bin design.
