The rainy weather is making me crave my comfort food! the best way to satisfy this cravings if you can't have them at the moment, is to draw them, even though that will make you hungry hahahaha! it's a fun way to start a new sketchbook too! This video is in collaborationg with ​⁠​⁠@ohuhuart_official ! I'm so thrilled to share with you today's video as we'll be combining Art markers and Watercolors together! Gonna get hate for this but if this video makes you wanna buy marker, take a look at your own skill first. Chasing good art supplies without a good art skill is a waste of money.. Speaking from experiment.

@@Khafski its a problem for young artists in general.. Even in digital too. They be asking what brush you use and the OG artist be using the default round brush.. Skill is very important

@@parulmithu3091 yeah thats why i can share that lesson.. You can practice with cheap supplies instead of feeling the need to have what the Big ones had.

Kinda agree here.. first you have to feel the medium so as you practice more you're not pressuring yourself to be immediately good at it, it takes time, patience and passion for oneself to be comfortable at a certain medium. Then once you experince it you can upgrade your tools as you go further.. Speaking from experience here, I lost my passion for watercolor as it takes too much space to set up and too messy to handle as I dont have a fix workspace, I switch to digital and only sketch in sketchbooks and stuffs

That’s one thing I have to admit I was very appreciative of. They supplied any extras with their products. Unlike the competition, when I purchased their markers, they provided swatching paper, a sleeve to protect against bleed through and a carrying case. In this case it appears they offer up a full set of brushes to start out with which is pretty cool!

I’ve been using ohuhu for years! I never thought of using a water color base first- Definitely gonna try it next time I get the motivation. I’m racking up a portfolio for college so hopefully this idea comes in handy!

Those drawings are so beautiful! The video makes me want to get back into traditional drawing an try out markers! I've only ever worked with copics for a school project once and they were really fun (but so expensive + they bled through everything but the equally expensive special paper)

I’ve never been great at drawing, 3D and graphic are more my strong suit, but for 30 years I’ve so dreamt of getting better. KZbin artists have inspired me to try again… I went to Blink to purchase my basics and placed an order to Ohuhu…. finding your channel and a few others will hopefully help me to enjoy art again. EDIT… I’ve never used alcohol markers before, so any beginner video suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Honestly, your best bet is to just play around with your markers, practice blending and layering, make sure you make a swatch sheet as your marker nibs will not be the colour you get. KZbin can't really teach how something will work, it's more what you like and getting a "feel" for things

I feel you! I've been drawing for 9 years and haven't seemed to get better, but I found watching art tutorials or just someone else draw, and frequently pausing and repeating all their steps helps me. And after that, immediately try to draw the same thing again, perhaps in a different pose / position, or make it look a little different, proving how well you remember how to draw it. For instance, I watched a tutorial on drawing horses, I've never been good at drawing them. I wrote down all their tips and techniques, and drew along with them, pausing and stopping at my own pace, while repeating what they did. After drawing along with all the horses they drew, I found myself able to draw horses in any pose I'd like, and they all turned out great. I also draw them often so I don't get rusty. Apologies for long reply, I'm suggesting you try art tutorials and draw along with them rather then the day after.

That’s the biggest mistake of my artist life 🤣 i spent 10 years waiting for my talent to grow without practice and it never happened 😂

tbh I love to draw and sketch but ive never been good with color or painting i just never spent time practicing because i would rather spend time improving in my drawings. there was soo many colors and it was hard to choose one and i would worry in what to highlight or what to shade with the markers eventually i got discouraged because i felt like my artwork never changed no matter how hard i tried but ive been improving still though your artwork is amazing ✨and the drawings are so colorful❤
