It looked a lot different 60 years ago when I was there. Just dirt roads overgrown with trees etc and a very small native population. We came on a Coast Guard ship. 1958, 1959 and 1960 .

I love that place ..I am a Part of Telesource team that constructed Tinian International Airport way back late 90s.

I really miss Tinan .........I will never forget that place and all those buetiful memories;)

I was there in '71 ... Met then-Mayor of Tinian Town, Tinian, Henry Fleming, in '71, when it was TTPI. The coral-pink stucco, Spanish-style Catholic Church and bell tower were still there. Typhoon destroyed the church, but bell tower remains intact to this day! Typhoon YUTU wreaked havoc to the town in 2018. I have always wanted to return for a visit.

The Crozat family arrived Guam...December 21, 48. Immediately immersed in village life....daddy having arrived in "46 being our pathfinder. I am a graduate of the class of '60 Academy of Our Lady. We were the recipients of Pope John XXlll and Vatican ll.....he realized so much what was in the minds of a changing world. There was a fresh wind blowing...and for the first time women could participate. For me no going back.
