Yeah, I was coming at this situation as being something Disney would do, because the company has already disrespected so many characters in the past.

Disney, like all big companies, love one thing more than over-correcting and that is money - moment they loss enough money they reverse quickly (this is why "cancelled" characters usually come back after the internet outrage is gone).

It’s easy to fall into the trap of believing everything we hear from someone we trust without question. But if we really want to make sure that we hear the truth, then we have to keep ourselves educated and be willing to question everyone, even those who we usually agree with. This doesn’t mean we should go to the other extreme of never trusting anyone, but it’s good to have a healthy amount of skepticism.

I think the problem is that these issues are long standing and in multiple companies and groups, so it's easy to accept rumors like removing Tinkerbell for 'problematic design' since we'd just think, "yeah, that sounds like something they'd do." The answer is to make your thoughts known, and if they don't listen... Fan content. Don't get mad. Get better. Improve in your own way and make things. Contribute in some way to your own interest, be it art, writing, or just discussion. Don't forget what they say or how they act, but don't let it consume you. Let yourself be happy and don't let them get to you. At this point, it's a game. And you give in, they win. And they know that. You should too. (I uh... can't salute. It's not in the lineup.)

Disney’s track record definitely doesn’t help their case, but double checking the facts is very important. What’s important is to support the writers and artists who worked on the stories we love and stand with them. It’s unfortunate that Disney and other corporations don’t value them as much as they should

Disney’s first ever Disney princess and I’m sorry, who genuinely gets upset because Tinkerbell is jealous sometimes ? like come on I literally feel like this is some kind of SNL sketch

Actually Splash mountain is getting revamped to theme around Princess and the Frog. Honestly i dont care about what the ride will look like as long as they still keep the water drop and if its pleasing to look at. I won't be blinded by nostalgia rage. Most people go to Splash Mountain for the thrill. Lastly didn't the man himself said Disneyland should keep updating?
@TheArtisticAloubell6 ай бұрын
That's what I was referring to. Changing Splash Mountain because some (not all) people were offended by the movie the characters were from despite 95% of society never seeing the movie and the animated characters themselves not actually being a problem. Splash mountain was beloved by SO MANY PEOPLE, so to just take it away and give it a new identity seems wrong. I love Princess and the Frog and I really like that it's getting some much-needed attention in the parks and should have its own ride. By all means, expand the park and add new things! But trying to bury the past as if it never existed isn't the best way to do it imo

That's why the Tinkerbell movies were actually great, since Tink had a great selection of friends from different parts of Pixie Hollow. Iridessa, Fawn, Rosetta, Silvermist, Vidia, Terence, and Zarina were all interesting yet unique fairies.

Good follow-up to the Tinkerbell video. While comments like this are concerning, a lot of it is a matter of "we'll wait and see." While I certainly hope Disney won't abandon Tinkerbell or take off her edge to the point she becomes unrecognizable, I wouldn't put it past them. Only time will tell.

Hello! Let's be honest, the statements presented in the previous video are very, very consistent with Disney's direction, I wouldn't be surprised if Tinker Bell is "modernized" to the core! Maybe it's just a rumor, maybe it won't happen, it's not something I plan to monitor... But I wouldn't be surprised if the "new" Tinker Bell (if it happens) looks 100% like the original... After applying plenty of Photoshop filters and special effects, plus a healthy dose of AI-based personality and the wishes and desires of plenty of Disney executives! :🙂 I don't want to try to do any prediction because I will probably fall short (if it happens)! 😀 Have a great day!

@@TheArtisticAloubell I did watch the whole thing and I liked it. Especially when you talked about the body type things. Speaking of Disney have you seen High School Musical told as chibi? My favorite line from that is "they make the call back get cast as leads, even though Sharpay arguably earned it more" I'm actually surprised at Disney allowed this line to exist.

Not gonna lie, I feel like you and many other people on the internet want a reason to dismiss others and their opinions on topics as just getting mad over nothing. In all seriousness, get off your high horse and try to understand why people make videos about topics, along with why they get mad about specific topics. It'll definitely be more helpful than merely dismissing everyone's criticisms as just getting mad, just like every other fence sitter in modern arguments.
