Tinker Bell "Ring Of Belief" Sneak Peak

Bellflower found this video a while ago and we thought it could possibly be for the final Tinker Bell movie "Quest for The Queen", but later we discovered that this was a scrapped story board for "Tinker Bell and The Ring Of Belief". What do you think?

Wow! surprisingly dark and what an epic ending to the Tinkerbell series this could have been. This could also explain Tink's transformation from a happy,bubbly character into the homicidal, psychotic lunatic we learned to love in the Peter Pan movies.

@@rlswetgg , No it doesn't. According to all sources the Pixie Hollow adventures are prequels to the Peter Pan era. In the very first episode we see Tink being born and assigned a profession. Also, in the Pirate Fairy we meet a young captain Hook, to name a few things.

Not surprised to see that this was supposed to be the first movie. The original books were also kinda dark (Rani losing her wings, Tink even broke her legs trying to rescue someone) for small children. I honestly would like to see this draft rescued in a future.

This is not true to the books though, the plot is about TinkerBell not being able to earn her pixie dust, which makes absolutely no sense. But everything else about the original concept is very true to the original.

Cameron Floe how about she put the pixie dust seed, in the ground and she grow them back and her mind to made a wish to return the fairies reborn and also her lost friends and so she's decided to fly her own faint, she has a full of pixie dust and all fairies were cheer for Tinker bell and Goodbye, the Pixie Dust Magic were choose for a new Queen with a New character of a Tinker bell final movie she was a new Queen of Pixie Hollow and Control of all Pixie dust and Tink, were decided to leave pixie hollow to change her own way and her friends were be there for her, and Tink will do anything to visit them back.

My theory to how this ends: Tink does fix the "ring of belief" but her friends don't return, a new queen is born (or chosen...) and Tink is banished from pixie hollow for breaking the ring in the first place (and for the casualties that followed after). It is after being banished that she meets Peter pan.

Seriously why they changed the script of the movie this scene and the trailer are just perfect. I know that they had a lot of problems with the animation and budget but the original plot was much better and exciting than the final movie I remember when I saw the movie and I felt very disappointed with all the plot changes. And it's very clear that this is not the end of the film and that somehow in the end Tink get her friends back.

This movie looks MILES better than the Tinkerbell we ultimately got in 2008. You can thank John Lasseter becoming head of Disney Animation for the change. Personally, I think Ring of Belief would have been much better than the "Find Your Talent" crap we ended up getting. And with the closure of DisneyToon studios in 2018, we will most likely never get to see this film.

Well because they are not dark and they also give tink her own little personality and I love them for that. First of all thanks for uploading and is extremely interesting! If this is for a future movie, then this storyboard would or could be abandoned or changed completely. These movies are aimed at very young children, especially little girls. The whole scene is quite serious and sad: seems Tinkerbell is guilty of something serious, then the others give up their pixie dust for her to fade away (die?!) Is quite probable they want to make more Tinkerbell movies and one may lead to her to meet and connect with Peter Pan, which in my opinion would be the last movie. But this storyboard may be just an idea and can be changed before making the actual animation.

Silvermist act like Vidia in this version and i believe it was mentioned that Vidia's voice was supposed to be the voice of Fawn in this version Silvermist was supposed to have blue eyes, her and iridessa's clothes were different and also not only was Fairy Mary supposed to be a teacher fairy her clothes was also different (simulair to Vidia's clothes a little bit, just differently) the only fairy that didn't changed at all is probably Rosetta Clank and Bobble didn't existed and i believe neither did the ministers (Vidia and Terence is already mentioned in the comment so i won't touch that one)

So hold on tinker bell broke this ring of belief which i’m guessing is hurting the queen removing magic cause in gets her to disappear/die and i’m guessing this movie is based around tinker bell and silver mist as they were trapped together and the way silvermist was talking and acting to words tinker bell, i’ve striped the internet and turns out Vidia isn’t even in this movie, and part of her personality was giving to silvermist explaining why silvermist was actin very harsh, I really hope disney take these lost clips and make this into another movie yes it’s dark but have u seen frozen 2 and all that dark themes do need to be done sometimes life isn’t all smiles and rainbows, from what i understand about this movies story line i love it so far, i’m probably going to make my own story about this, plus i beg!!!disney to make a movie on this story plot

I don't think this would of made it in a final Tinkerbell movie honestly, (I think it would of been too sad and dark, especially for younger kids who liked the other fairies besides Tinkerbell,) (Like, for example, other than Tink, I love Rosetta and Raini (who appeared only in the books.), so watching their favorite fairy disappear like that forever would of made them probably heartbroken, but I bet if they rewrote the scene and take out certain sad parts of it, maybe it could of fit in if the movie was made. (Like instead of the other fairies disappearing forever, maybe there could of been a way for the ring of Belief not to be broken and a different way to break the spell to not affect the fairies. (Good thing this probably won't ever be in a final finished Tinkerbell movie, as Disney isn’t THIS dark and I believe they only made it like this as a scrapped test of other ideas and stuff, I think it's too dark and sad honestly.) But maybe this was how Tinkerbell moved on meeting Peter Pan later on for a movie that never ended up happening?

​​@@princesspeachfan100 don't think Sil was going to be straight up mean but just serve as a lancer character to Tink. All of the clips we've seen other than this one showcase her being friendly to Tink and in the scrapped clip of the fairies going to the Mainland, it looks like she fills some kind of stern older sister role. There's also a voiceless animatic where Sil appears as a down-to-earth character that helps calm Tink down. That and in the old ads she's described as "cool and collected" and "the glue that holds the group together". She probably filled the lancer and deuteragonist role Vidia would end up playing but I think she was more of a calm and stern figure and probably had an arc planned with this scene serving as the conclusion. As a Silvermist Stan, we were honestly robbed.

Usually when they do certain scenes that aren't in the movie yet or test footage, they have "placeholder" voice-actors that do the scenes for test reasons before they start actually casting the official voice actors for the films to do the scenes or before they actually start recording the scenes to run through things before deciding to put them in the actual movie or not. (Or, at least, I THINK that's how it all works.) (It says on the bottom right that this test scene was from 2006 apparently, so these "placeholder" unknown VA's were doing the test run voices 2 years WAY BEFORE Mae Whitman and the others were officially cast as them.

The queen along with the rest of the fairies are disappearing because Tink broke the ring of belief which gives kids imagination and such so they don't believe in faires anymore so they are all dying. That's the basic of it But there are a ton of great videos on the plot of it which I would recommend watching. And without their pixie dust, they disappeared and so forth. Also, I believe that the figure is captain hook, if I'm remembering correctly
