From what I've expierienced living in Tinley for 20 years, they only set off the sirens if there is an imminent danger to the town. and then its Attack. Alert is the all clear signal.

FedSigHT1000 about the health center 1003, i went to see it same day and security threw me out saying I was trespassing and had no reason to see the siren. Says power to building is cut

They with all of the rotating sirens now. New Equinoxes that ship should have them as well. There are some 508s in the wild with them too.

This one was put in sometime in spring, the one on 84th was within the last month when they redid the pumping station there.

amtrak3501 I'm not sure. I assume as they upgrade the sites or fail they will replace them. I'd love to get my hands on the 1003 at the mental health center. Didnt hear it activate on tuesday. During the Test I was working at the DPW garage at 183 & 80th.

Dire Wolfy On a siren video?? I always thought of it as unnecessary for siren videos. For still images, it makes sense to do that. For a video like this with nothing but the siren, I don't see the point...

In terms of financial stuff, running and maintaining a thunderbolt costs WAY more than running and maintaining any 2001. Plus, all except for one thunderbolts variants are quieter the 2001-130

The thunderbolt was on its last leg, the 2001 130 is a much better siren in terms of reliability
