I just wanted to say thank you. I'm not sure how your videos popped up on my feed but I'm so glad I checked them out. Your positive attitude and cheerful demeanor is fun to watch. You personally got me started scrapping last December and I can honestly say it is super fun!! It's like treasure hunting!! Your videos on maximizing profits from scrapping are a blessing. Thank you for doing what you do! Great job, please keep up the great work!! From Atlanta,ga

As a new scrapper, I don't have the tools/workshop/space to break into these motors. I have tried many times, hence why I drive by items. That said, I am learning a lot from your videos and beginning to know my limits.

Thanks for the video. One question, if you unwind the aluminum from the washer spool would it go in dirty aluminum or clean aluminum

Yesterday I picked up close to 15-20 lbs of circuit boards, mostly low grade, with some medium grade boards..no high grade.. so far scratch test shows aluminum instead of copper..since this video I have to check those black pieces you showed in the video.. thanks, great video full of information! Happy Canada to you also..it would be happier with out Trudeau, but it’s a work in progress..lol

You managed to turn a scrapping video comment thread into useless political garbage. How tiring.

Thanks for again a very informative video. I have some questions: - Why are the fingers of the copper heat sink (at 19:51) number two? What do you mean by "a lot of small cases", referring to the "fingers"? - And I haven't seen aluminum heat sinks with a copper coating before; do they exist?
@jamesfirth12802 жыл бұрын
Some have a copper ingot inside, some have copper tubes running through with the aluminum fins, some painted aluminum, some clean aluminum. I called it #2 because the fins are connected with soder

I came across a motor from a vacuum that even the metal casing is aluminum it weights next to nothing for its size.

Do you know what's inside a fog machine heating core that makes it magnetic? I know they're aluminum but at one end it's magnetic I'm trying to cut it in half to see do you know?

Unfortunately no. I have never found one yet. Here is to hoping.

how do you crack open the motors of vacuums
@superdud1242 жыл бұрын
It's not easy. I feel like you'd need to cut that housing open, or cut off the bolt that holds the fins on. I've been fighting to open one that I found for a while.
