this is a common "business strategy" where they have employee stand at random spots, and they lead you to a different place- that you wanted to go 1st place, so they "tricked" you.
@TinoPesenti3 жыл бұрын
I wasn’t tricked as I thing Japanese people know how to make the difference. This business isn’t oriented to foreigners in the first place.

I am so happy that you are not afraid to switch things up. This is good. I know you have your "Discover" series but this is good too. Everything worked out in this video and it's awesome to get a "behind the scenes" look at the difference between the other "kitty kat" wearing maids who are about that "full" service. I never knew there was a difference. But i truly learned many things today, especially the price of things for something like this. Arigato.

Here in 2022. If they could only get those prices down by half & then advertise that, they might be able to attract more customers, which may then become a regular/patron. More customers, more income, which should balance out the relatively lower prices than other maid cafes. Price:performance ratio.

44 US bucks is CHEAP. I tip almost that on a dinner for two at a restaraunt and no one talks to us except to bother and interrupt us (until I tell them to stop) and ask how the food is. The girl has to earn a living. I would have tipped her almost that much just because I like making people happy and she was a delightful person. Don't expect for people to entertain you for nothing especially school girls with expenses. Thanks for the video, I learned some things about the nature of this kind of business.
@TinyBitBrit3 жыл бұрын
This is Japan though, she's on a good hourly rate so the entertainment is to be expected if it's part of her job. The US seems to have an issue with paying their waiters a decent wage so you've fostered a tipping culture, but please know that most 1st world countries don't operate this way as Waiters generally live on better wages (namely here in Europe) compared to the US, so tipping isn't necessary nor is it expected.
@GaiaMiranda3 жыл бұрын
@@TinyBitBrit I've been all over Europe so I didn't fall off the back of a haywagon lol. The thing here is... They are here more for "entertainment" not for serving food or drink as much, so conversation and the like are not expected from the average waiter or waitress here in the USA or really anywhere. There's a difference and many times in this case they want the girls to divulge information about themselves while they are skimply dressed. It's worth a good tip.

@TinoPesenti3 жыл бұрын
Uh 🙄 I don’t know what you mean! What you said would be true in third world countries where you see a lot of “sweaty foreigners” by the way why “sweaty”? In Japan COVID-19 or not, foreigners are rare and you might have seen some videos of KZbinrs filming girls here and there but it’s not like a thing here at all! Japanese women are shy and it is really hard to get to interview or simply interact with them especially when holding a camera (look at my other videos, you’ll realize that this video is the only one where I interview a girl). By the way, my friend and I are both married to a Japanese women and we were definitely not looking for anything else than being surprised by the manga atmosphere… I’m wondering why you clicked on the video in the first place???
