Sims have the opportunity to throw a bachelor/bachelorette party In The Sims 3 and go crazy. With The Sims 3: Generations, After Sims are engaged, they can now throw a bachelor/bachelorette party. Players can throw this party at home or at a venue. Right before the party starts, the bride will autonomously change clothes and the guests will start arriving. few hours after the party has started, entertainers will appear depending on the sexual orientation of the host. There are three types of dancers: Police officers will arrive in a police car. They all wear skimpy clothes. There are also firefighters and military entertainers.

With The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories, Engaged Sims can also throw a Bach Party and have fun before the Wedding. Before their big day, you can use the phone or the calendar and plan The Bach Party Event, - a gender neutral version of the bachelor/bachelorette parties. You'll need a host and up to seven guests. You can also choose up to five goaled activities for the party. You can throw the party on any residential or community lot. Pick the time and you're ready. When it's time for the party, you'll be teleported in the venue. So have toasts, have drinks and dance!

In TS3 if you have the Bachelor party at home, all of the NPCs will eventually pass out on the floor until morning, which is a nice touch.

They do this at public venues too. I had a party at a dive bar once for the bachelorette party, and if the party is really wild people won’t leave, they’ll sleep on the floor and the owners of the lot will kick everyone out 😂

In the sims 3 if you have the bachelor/bachelorette party with their partner there, a notification will pop up with them saying 'Are you sure you want me here for this?'

Sims 3 looks like the bachelorette party you throw for your friend because she's the first one in the circle of friends to get married. Sims 4 is the party she throws for you when you're the last in the friend group to get married and they all have to leave early anyway because they need to take care of their kids (like they all don't have husbands that can do that), and all that friend wants to do is sit around and talk about her kids.

Something i really love about TS3 is the parties. Opening the map and being able to crash any party was so much fun, it all felt so real. Also the way in which they could organize themselves naturally: a call and to prepare the party and wait for the guests, aaaaa i miss that feeling so much

Yes and even the option for teen parties while the parents were away on vacations were so much fun. Being able to have the cops called on your house because the teen Sims were too rowdy and the music was too loud was so good. Sims 4 can’t even come close to that

Wow… yeah, this just further shows how lacking TS4 really is. Every single type of gathering in TS4 is exactly the same with a new name and hardly anything ever goes right. Sims 3 parties and events are fun, while TS4’s are timed tasks. I’ll never not be upset by the fact TS4 could have potentially been THE best in the franchise, if they just started over and not built off a scrapped online multiplayer game. I gladly would have waited a few more years for a new and improved Sims game over what was given.

The Build/Buy mode is nice but all the sims have the same personality regardless of traits and even when you have a declared enemy they’ll walk up cheerfully and carry on a friendly conversation autonomously. Or when one spouse cheats the family doesn’t react and you can easily mend the relationship, they’ll go from being angry at them to wanting to kiss them within seconds. The sims 2 wanted their enemies dead lol and would autonomously fight them or slap them across the face. Mortimer Goth stole my sims newspaper and took off because he hated her lol.

I do not own TS4:MWS, but do own nearly every bit of DLC for TS3, and everything that you highlighted for the TS4 bachelorette party can be done (actually done), in TS3, plus the dancers, dancing on top bars, fizzy nectars, etc. (like you showed us), but the partner fiance can sneak a peek at the party too (can produce quite a bit of drama). Seeing that TS4:MWS is still so broken, can you even call this a contest? LOL 🙃🤭 TS3 wins hands down❣ I do have to give an honorable mention to TS1 (even though they fid not have bachelorette parties), for their cake dancers, which definitely scarred me as a tween....oops 😲 I do like TS3 dancers, but because you could not predict the cake dancers actions in TS1, there was certain to be some face slapping going on. 😈

the brightness/contrast on your sims 3 footage looks harsh. mine doesn't look like that. i think you're editing the footage cuz when you screen record ts3 it looks too dark but if you record on windowed mode it'll look normal. on the smooth patch mod there's a way where you can enable windowed fullscreen/borderless mode

I had a problem with Sims 3 here: the guests wanted to walk anywhere, to pee, to eat, to fight, but didn't communicate normally with my sim. It was just my sim dancing and everyone else staring at it doing nothing. Or walking somewhere. I made partyoptions for three times and started hating it. It was just boring to watch, only my sim and entertainer do something, while others - even if you give a command - get rid of it and have no fun
