Wow! Still tinting in the Stone age! Easy tip! Slightly pull back the door panels and remove rubber weather stripping.. Film drops into wide hole not touching anything, install film, slightly wet rubber weather stripping then slide rubbers back in. Push panel back into door! No Brainer! Tinting since 1982

Nice. That guy did a good job. Pretty fast with the back window too. I just tried to tint a charger back window. It was tough. It had multiple lines on the top.

For the back windows, do you cut on the inside or the outside of the dot-matrix along the edge?

What is the solution you use to wash windows? Is it the same that u use to keep wet during install?
@MrVatintman11 жыл бұрын
Yes....Cause they are not as curved as back windows...But not all door windows are just the bottom....Like Corvettes for example you have to shrink the top of the door as well....Also some others...

i hope it goes away. he said he would retint the window if needed. i hope its not some adhesive he missed from taking the old tint off to put this new tint on. the car was already tinted when i bought it so i had him take it off and tint the windows darker. its only been about 50 degrees here the last 2 days!

6. this is porno music
@MrJoeairman20004 жыл бұрын
Music reminds me of the late 90s, gay clubs, circuit clubs, full of circuit boys, dancing, rolling on ecstasy, with a can of red bull, at 600am....Not that I would have had any personal experience with that.
@MrVatintman11 жыл бұрын
We all use the same method for the most part but we all have own variations of it....like the back window 95% of us all dry shrink it like him....We all don't apply the film the same to the window like him...I reverse roll it on to the back window not franky it... watch here for reverse roll....
@MrVatintman11 жыл бұрын
Its not as hard as you think...Of course it is when you first try....But if you got some common sense and read about it on Tintdude or just watch videos on here its pretty easy...I am all self taught and have been doing this for ten years....

makes me sick to see inside doors getting soaked with solution
@pituq1297 жыл бұрын
Kyle H have you brought your car for full details. They soak your interior with soap and water and then abstract it out
@crabcake14209 жыл бұрын
Too much water on the interior! Use less man, water ruins leather.

7. you tint enough to invest in a piece of glass for a transfer/final cut board. quit doing your final cuts on the glass. you're teaching people mistakes.
@thisisjustplainstupi9 жыл бұрын
This guy probably hasn't ever tinted a window in his life.
@thisisjustplainstupi9 жыл бұрын
He probably doesn't realize this video is from 2011 and that you work in a shop with glass boards and these videos are for do-it-yourselfers.
@matthewj20069 жыл бұрын
thisisjustplainstupi this video teaches the jack legs that i deal with everyday that can tint cars for $40. then i have to listen to my workers bitch about having to take shitty tint off that said jack leg installed on a car. subtract jack legs= good tint jobs. = less shitty removals. these videos make people do it themselves and in the end are creating your own competition. Colby.
@thisisjustplainstupi9 жыл бұрын
matthewj2006 Sounds like your workers are little bitches, I'd get some new guys who have a better work ethic. Gotta take the bad with the good, ya know. Last I learned, monopolies are pretty bad for the market and the consumer. You should probably thank said jack legs for educating the customer on what bad tint jobs are, so that they can come to you and pay you, including the extra removal fee, Matthew.
@matthewj20069 жыл бұрын
1. you wasted so much film. 2. you wasted so much time. 3. that window doesnt need heat shrinking. 4. that gasket pulls in 3 seconds making for a cleaner install not having to deal with fingers coming back. 5. quit
