Looks good! I just ordered some of this. Would you be able to do a 2nd video for a more complicated headlight that has more ridges? I'm going to attempt wrapping my Forester's taillights and headlights, but the latter has a few ridges I'm not sure how to approach. Thanks!

Try the tinted PPF by flexishield, way better than that foggy purple looking tint. Super glossy and flat, plus headlights are now protected from oxidation, rock chips and scratches

I'd like to see a Tundra (2014 and up) taillight install. It has these complicated ridges. Maybe you can show us haha

Ill make sure to record one when I have one come in, but I am familiar with what you are talking about. A lexis is350 I did had the same ridges, and was able to do it in one piece.

That Luxe is awesome stuff. I've been using it for a while myself. I have some sitting here waiting to get installed on a customers car. I also have it on my Taillights as well. Looks like paint when cleaned up.

Hey man. Your videos seriously rock. Been binge watching all of them. What do you do if the vinyl is just not sticking? Do you use a primer at all or do you just clean it again with Isopropyl Alcohol? Thanks for all your help.

Whats up bro! The only time I will use an adhesive promoter is if the car is primered/sanded. If its a new car and fresh paint, there is more likely grease somewhere so try to clean the area again and rewrap it my man!

question, why didnt you anchor one side to the car and heat and stretch over the whole head light instead of doing half and half? it looks like you left an adhesive line in the middle, did you? im confused

There’s a good chance of when anchoring, that when you try to glass it will break lose which is why I finished one side before glassing the other not including having the whole piece in the air you will likely get more trash/dirt under the light. Also there is no adhesive line, Luxe is very good about that. Also once your experienced enough, you’ll know how to remove adhesive/glue lines. They aren’t permanent if you know how to work with the vinyl

Is the headlight tint film protective against stone chips etc or just for looks??

It protects the headlights as well from rocks etc. They sell a lighter tint as well so it’s not as dark.

I could understand the clear bra to protect the headlights and dark tint for reflectors. But I wouldn’t tint my personal lights. I agree with you, but people pay for it.

No, I don’t like vivid and that’s my personal opinion. I mainly stick with 3m, Kpmf, Avery and Inozetek

3m is more tacky and Avery is a bit easier to work with in my opinion. The air release is good and tack isn’t bad so glassing is a breeze. Once you get your hands on either brand, you’ll never use vivid again. I used vivid to wrap a hood and I had to use tack reducer. 3m and Avery you don’t need anything but a squeegee, blade and heat source 💪🏼

Pros: Easy to apply, Air channels, Cast vinyl, Super Glossy. Cons: not optically clear. Can see air channels. Looks better on taillights as they are usually darker than headlights.

Most vehicle door handles are easy to take apart. Depending on the car it might be easier to just remove them than wrap them on. BMW, MERCADES, AUDI, all door handles are easy to remove. But to answer your question. Yes you can wrap it on, just won’t get as much detail.
