Today we got our windows tinted and we love it, you cant tell its on the windshield for one, and two it brings down the heat in the cab by about 15 degrees. we will make an update video shortly on our 2 month experience with the tint.Look out for the video.

Windows tinted will help keep your truck cooler, look great! Becaful on scales they will give a remove ticket if they inspected the truck. Nice to see you back.

You can legally tint the windows of a commercial vehicle up to 70% light transmission

@@ray.j3351 I think so but I've never seen or heard of DOT checking tint. I used to run 35% on my windows and never got harassed at the scales.

honestly Jane drove days I drove nights but every now and again I would sit up with her while she drove and I could tell the difference from heat being transferred into the cab. and jane would always get one arm burnt because the sun was always beating on it but she said it no longer burnt her arm like it used to, also it was so minuscule of a tint level that DOT wouldn't even realize that the windshield was tinted but we could feel the difference honestly i probably would've gone darker on the windows but the windshield was perfect. just remember if you drive nights tinted windows will make city driving or back road driving more difficult because unless its well lit roads you sometimes cant see the back of your trailer
