What a wonderful gentleman giving such a positive and knowledgeable feedback. Yes Red Road is back doing his territorial patrols. As far as his leg only eating well and exercise will fix that. I have seen the same in Blondie Avoca and one of the Kruger Males. Always looks worse when they need a meal. All in all I would say definitely on the road to recovery. Very very happy about that. Thank you Tintswalo. I have never in the history of lions heard of a pride rejecting their dominant male just because he was injured in a fight. Especially when they have small cubs and he is the father of the cubs. RRM is definitely making a comeback and looking stunning as ever. The leg will heal in time.

He's not ready to stop yet. I'm so glad that he's got the flexibility to sit like he did. As he patrols he'll work that leg and it'll get stronger. After all, it's got to carry around it's share of 500lbs. He's always been a good male lion for his pride.

Is it possible the Lionesses' were just afraid of him dying and were more upset and didn't know what else to do except prepare for the inevitable? Red Road is still not out of the woods yet. We must pray and ask that he be totally restored to a healthy male Lion once again. We still have HOPE!!! It appeared that he was able to walk without a PRONOUNCED limp. YAAAAY!!!! 👍👏💞🤠

No they let fait take it's own course. Only time they intervene is if they get caught up in a snare and things like that.

I’m still shock that he not only was against 2v1 and if folk seen the tintswlo’s males he gave then a hell of a beaten or fight but normally it’s a death sentence but he’s 6 going 7 and powerful is a understatement to him he has it all servileskill, smarts, experienced and will not back down the snare could kill nor two adults males against only him and still he’s over came the obstacles and his pride now will help because only if they wat he went thru to stay alive for and protect them and he’ll bulk back up but he needs water that will keep him energy

I know Hyenas have their purpose, but I never root for them. I just hope the Lion recovers fully, which could explain why the hyena seemed so at ease strutting down the street! He does recover only as he and DM normally do and astonish us, Maybe seeing what the future will possibly have in store he will be not such a dic… at times . Time will tell, Also there was 4 of the TW brothers and now 3 has anyone heard if he came back or found deceased or bones after predators if lucky ?
