The reason why the north are clamoring for Jonathan is not that they loved him but for the fact that Jonathan if he accepted to run will only have one term (four years) to govern and the power goes back to the north. If Jonathan refuses to run the North will have no option other than to vote for Tinubu. The North are aware that if they vote for anyone from the South outside Tinubu or Jonathan they will wait for another Eight years before power can go back to the North which the North will never accept to happen. No matter the amount of money Peter Obi is given to the north, digging borehole here and there in the North they will not vote for him cos that will keep the North out of power for more eight years and the North are doing everything within their power to get to power so that they can destroy whatever remains of Nigeria after Tinubu.
