"Let’s break it down: The government is currently subsidizing fuel by paying half of the landing cost, so if we buy fuel at 900 naira, the government covers 900 naira. Now, Dangote has stated that he can sell fuel to Nigerians for 600 naira or less. This means that even if the government decided to completely cover the cost of Dangote's production, making fuel free for citizens, they would still save at least 300 naira per liter. So, my fellow citizens, how would you define wickedness? This government is incredibly unfair."

Why not locally refine, the OPEC allotted Domestic Use crude oil, to meet domestic consumption, (making it available & affordable), before exporting? This fuel is the major source of energy, to power local economic activities; since there's no regular electricity supply. Where is the Law of Survival/Existential... when you have a production in an area, satisfy the local consumption before exporting the excess?

According to the direct sale/ direct purchase agreement the refiners abroad will keep the other derivatives while the NNPC takes Petrol, kerosene,Jet fuel and Diesel. There’s no subsidy on kerosene,Jet fuel and Diesel. How can we be paying that much on petrol alone for subsidy?
