I largely agree with you, but have some reservations. While Nigerians bear some responsibility, it's unfair to place the blame solely on them. It's puzzling that every other sector in Nigeria is thriving except the government. Political leadership and the system they perpetuate are equally to blame. Leadership sets the tone, and systemic issues like corruption, incompetent governance, limited access to education and information, economic struggles, and lack of accountability hinder citizens' ability to effect real change. History has shown us this - from the annulled June 12 election and MKO's tragic fate, to Yaradua's rigged election and the recent presidential election marred by INEC's 'glitch'. Nigerians aren't naive. We need to confront these underlying issues and work together to build a better Nigeria.
