TINY A-FRAME CABIN TOUR - Colorful Tiny A-Frame Cabin with a Full Size Moose Painted Inside

Take a look at the tiny 10' x 16' A-Frame cabin that I built in the Pennsylvania Wilds near Cook Forest State Park and the Allegheny National Forest! The cabin has a full size moose painted inside, a wood burning stove and also has a flip open roof section. I share a walk around of the exterior and also show you the colorful interior and some fold up "furniture" options which are perfect for small spaces.

That lil A- Framed Cabin has got to be one of the most beautiful cabins that I have ever seen in my life . I love the paint by numbers art work because it's so colorful and amazeing . You are so talented. As an artist myself I know how much time it takes to do a big art piece. I love that moose painting and your mama was right about the moose but that's what really makes that painting stand out and it's unique . I just love the artwork . I love the furniture, the stove , that fish rug . That cabin is just decorated just perfect . I love that Smoky The Bear . I would turn that lil storage room into a little kitchen . You could maybe set up some water system without plumbing . I be seeing on KZbin how alot of people who live in tiny homes , cars , a bus and vans set up there water systems without being connected city water . But then I don't know your situation . Oh you could maybe set up some kind of rain catchment system and filter your water . But anyway I would put a lil compost or whatever kind of toilet you want over there by that stove where those coats are whatever was hanging up over there . That is just the perfect cabin . I love those lil beds , they are beautiful . I love the high ceilings because they make the cabin look bigger . I love the the big window that you can open up . I love the color of the cabin with the red door and the red window frames . I bet it is so pretty when it snows , I bet when it rains on the roof the sounds of the rain is so relaxing . I was watching KZbin tonight and your lil cabin popped up on my TV . I just had to see the cabin . I am so glad that I saw it . Thank you for sharing it on KZbin for the whole world to see . I named my tiny house the"crooked little tiny house" since i had no idea wtf i was doing and my Dad (who i thought would always be here to help me and who was a master craftsman)passed away before i even really got the roof on(which is also totally wrong and needs tl be redone come spring..)matter of fact may take the whole thing down amd start over now that i have property and a little more knowledge🤷🏼‍♀️I love your place.. the black looks great in the forest

The main thing I like about your build is the decking! The whole point to being in the woods is to be OUTside. So small sleeping quarters is cool. Large deck to enjoy outside.

I think it looks very nice. My husband loves paint by numbers too. He has done quite a few in our time together. Kitchen or bathroom yeah that'd be a hard call. Maybe build another one behind/ beside it, either attached or with a breezeway between the two.

Thanks much! It’s a great and cozy little cabin for 1, but it gets really tight when 2 people are there. That’s why everything folds down. More room would be great and some wall space to hang a book shelf and other pictures/memories. So I’m thinking about building out that flip up roof section into a permanent room addition. I would also have insulated the floor. It’s cold in the fall/winter! And the thing I miss most is not having a covered porch area. Would love to sit under cover, drinking coffee on rainy days!

I did the black and red outside and almost painted a Dracula inside hahaha, but decided to stick with campy. The lift up roof section is just 4 heavy duty door hinges at the top. Thanks for watching!

defo make it a kitchen nook. if you had a guest it would give you space to cook inside. Have you considered widening the pop outs to make it a G frame? that would give you some extra space.

Don’t want to get too crazy or I’d be better off just doing a rebuild haha. If I make a change, the flip up roof will become a permanent roof and addition. If I end up doing that, the back room will be a bathroom. Probably make some decisions in the spring!

Very nice theme work. Love the way it opens up to the outside with swing up panel. But... Way to small. I would at least double if not triple the size and make an enclosed clear panel porch instead of the swing up. I'm kinda claustrophobic when it comes to cabins. Really got into the round thing lately too. Love the grain bin silo mini homes but with a lower roof. Hey, what comes round goes around...
