Given the overall state of Tiny’s marriage, then using Dineva’s rationale, surrounding herself with “lesser” people like Shekinah would make sense seeing how Tameka may have been made to feel as “less than” inside of her own marriage. I struggle to foster relationships with people often times because of the way I’ve been taught to think; I’m a forward, outside of the box, type thinker and it’s problematic because people always believe I’m behaving condescendingly towards them whenever they confide in me. Not to make this about myself, but I have been struggling for years figuring what my gifts are, and a new person pointed out to me a week and a half ago that my ability to look at & analyze a problem, and immediately devise a solution is a God given gift. Needless to say, that person came into my life and left not soon after because I think I made them feel inferior just based on my confidence and relative level of success alone. I’m not rich but I can say that the bulk majority of my relationships are centered around an intellectual imbalance and even humbly associating myself with people of similar intelligence causes them to become hostile towards me. I personally try to always work on maintaining a healthy level of self esteem but given Tiny’s life circumstances, I could see how that might be an issue for her. She has no other choice but to surround herself with the “Shekinah’s” of the world given her socioeconomic status because women on her success level don’t have the inordinate amount of free time to support her emotionally

Idk if that is what Tiny does because she does have friends that are as equally or more successful than her. I honestly used to be the friend on the lower end of the financial spectrum, however, I've always tried to maintain my outgoing personality throughout the friendships I was in. I was always the friend that others would dump their issues on, but with certain so-called "friends", a few had that Queen complex of low-key tryna put into position as their "flunkie" or "side kick", and because I chose that no one could ever place me anywhere, because I was comfortable with self, and they probably weren't comfortable with themselves, it showed in their behaviors towards me. Luckily, I'm an empath, and my discernment is strong. It took me no time to cut them off. I'm not a second chance person either, so I don't have time for others' bullsh**, period. I'm all the better for letting them go, in my opinion. I'm no one's 2nd anything. It is what it is.
