Last week, I had some problems which kept me from home for eleven days. It was depressing and painful. To keep my spirits up, I played this song in my head. It's just so happy that I couldn't help but be cheered by it. Thank you, Jason.

Nice work, even more impressive when you take into account that it is a "one-man" project. I'm heavily into music and 3D graphics production, too, and i completetely understand the work, effort, time, hair-pulling and sweat behind this. Congratulations!

Not really. They're called key frames. At key #1 the Taiko stick is at rest. At Key #2 it is striking the surface of the skin. At key #3 the stick is moved slightly forward as is the Taiko. At key #4 the Taiko returns to rest and the stick returns to the surface of the skin, and then finally at key #5 the stick returns to the rest position. Each key is strategically placed on the timeline to create the animation IPo. The MIDI file is used to automate the animation repetition through the video.

If not for the audio compression, I'd probably be enjoying this a lot more, but with having EVERYTHING so loud, it's kinda difficult to :/
@JasonWardStudios5 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's the lack of compression that bothers you. When I recorded this it was right from the synth rack into the recording software with no compression effects. The bass is a little punchy, which pushed the sound of the accompaniment down some. I didn't have FL Studio to help me balance things more carefully, instead using only the Synths, Effects Boxes, and the Mackie to try and balance everything. It could probably use a good remaster, but for now she is what she is. Thank you for taking a few moments to listen. I appreciate it!
@i_am_jarvistm72205 жыл бұрын
@@JasonWardStudios Yeah, it's the fact that a lot of it sounds like its trying to be the same volume, which does not help the audio quality. I can try listening to it with the volume down a bit more than I usually have it to go over it again, but yeah... didn't really enjoy it the first time around...
