You sure? That loft looked a decent size to sleep in. That cabin seriously was great. I'd take those over one of the tiny homes I've seen. Would be awesome to buy a piece of land and plop that down in the middle of it.
@thathikingguy8 жыл бұрын
Right? These were crazy high quality. Which makes a lot of sense as there are Amish in the area. The loft just didnt have a lot of head room, I suppose you could fit some kiddos up there though
@TimWatsonOutdoors8 жыл бұрын
That Hiking Guy wonder what the insulation is in those things? Any?
@thathikingguy8 жыл бұрын
I think you would have to insulate the ceiling maybe but these are just like cabins you would find in the smokies. The walls are thick enough to provide thermal mass I believe
@KentuckyWoodsman8 жыл бұрын
Those are really awesome little cabins! I am amazed at the prices! Seems like a really good deal for what you get!
@thathikingguy8 жыл бұрын
I would buy one in a heartbeat as I said in the video. Plop that down on 5 acres or so. Heck ya!

My son has one of these. It was built right less then one week. This was I think in 2000 n it was 4 to 5000$ lol !!! It's adorable!!

@thathikingguy5 жыл бұрын
No unfortunately just chinked very well but the logs are the insulation

What was the price and size of each. Sound was overtaken by road noise. But...these are what I have been looking for...great quality and layout. Thanks for sharing info for us.
@thathikingguy6 жыл бұрын
14X22 = $13,247 and 14X24 =$11,432. Not sure why the larger one is cheaper other than the floor plan is more of a one-room style

The guys name on all the paperwork was Perry Lambright. I just rewatched my video to find that. It didn’t even have a number just a sign that said go to the house one block north

I love them. I'm like you, I would love to own some land with a little cabin. Here in AZ I occasionally see ads for 40 acres for like $28k in the mountains and I've thought about buying. But they are very remote and no utilities. Does the price include setup?
@thathikingguy8 жыл бұрын
I dont think the price included setup, possibly delivery though. I was so excited I forgot to read everything lol
@walkmichigan22578 жыл бұрын
These things were great. You can't beat the prices. I'm constantly checking out my Zillow app for acreage that won't break the bank and that's close to home. These would be ideal to fit into my dream. I wonder if there would be any building permits or anything required to throw one of these on a plot of land.
@thathikingguy8 жыл бұрын
The only obstacle I can see zoning wise would be the fact that the square footage might not be enough, I guess it depends on your area. Thanks for watching
@fvm21168 жыл бұрын
Its just my opinion but those are 10 times nicer than anything you showed from the tiny home show and much better pricing.
@thathikingguy8 жыл бұрын

Hey sorry I just now saw this comment. I am afraid I cannot be much help as this was years ago. I have not been back since this video. Again, I am sorry. I know the houses are pretty awesome.

I just looked up the guys name that was on the sign and as I remember in the video it said to go to the first place on the right I think that is on 475 and the guys name is Perry Lambright. Hope that helps

Look at The Amish log cabin Homes and Laure, Ohio. He’s on KZbin and there’s no Sundays as well but they gave a phone number to contact this person and then he’ll contact you or you contact him and he’ll get a hold of the person. That makes the Amish Log cabins Homes he has a kitchen and him he has a bathroom in him and he’s got it was a 12 x 24 x 12 x 26 I can’t remember the name I said had a bathroom it had a living room in it it had a bedroom in it and a kitchen and then it had an a loft in the upstairs where you could sleep in it and it was wired and it had plumbing in it everything was there and the cabin was even treated for bugs for insects and it was like 15,000. It was a really nice home. He also has a real nice one it’s called the greens and it’s like 42 x 14 or 20th something it was like $53,000 but it was like three bedrooms living room dining room kitchen bathroom used family room for the three bedrooms and then it was cheaper than going and buying a piece of property down in Maryland with a Home already on it. I could get the Home by a piece of property and put it on and it would be like $125,000 depending on the property that’s like a half acre lot. INSTEAD of paying 349,000 to 500,000 for a home in Maryland. It was a lot cheaper looking at AMISH LOG CABIN HOMES in Laure, Ohio and it was nice home, quality built home, they are round logs not squared off logs.They build and transport them to location. They say $5.50 a mile and $165.00 per state, for state permits. From ad on video clips.
