I remember the first video I saw of Tiny, and couldn't get over how small he was and was foraging for himself so young as well, very independent little monkey, never ever seen a monkey that young getting food themselves, only looked about 5months old, best looking monkey I've seen and always my favourite.

The poor little guy, all I really saw him eating was dirt a couple of leaves, and maybe some of it was bread crumbs but I'm thinking the majority of it was just plain dirt. That's probably why Tina didn't raid his pouches like she did Teeny's. He was quite the cute little fart wasn't he? Like Teeny, just pretty much miniature versions of normal monkeys made both of them just adorable. And when Teeny learned to beg she that little bit of a ponchy tummy! LOL It's too bad that they had to struggle so bad when they were that young.

I love Tina's babies! Tiny and Teeny learned early to survive on their own. Tina was greedy and always take what food THEY forged. I am so glad both made it! I love the little pecking they do! Tiny looks healthier than Teeny did!

Arroz, what do you think of the jk situation? He bit the owner and has been locked up in a small cage for over a month. His canine teeth were just removed. The owner claims that the “expert” says to leave jk in the cage for 3-6 months and he will then become non aggressive. This is the man that claims to own over 200 cats, several dogs, and the two pig tails. He also “adopts” young boys for a few months and then they disappear, it’s a cycle. He dresses his monkeys up and brings them to restaurants and to walk around in town, but won’t let people take pictures without a donation. He appeals constantly for donations, yet has cars, scooters, and doesn’t work. If you voice disagreement on his videos, you are labeled a troll or fake monkey expert, and then blocked from posting again. Just like that other topeng monyet Boo with Pete. I didn’t intend on writing so much, I just wonder your thoughts on this.

I think Tiny is a 'ground monkey' because he is always looking for food. He always looks like a barnyard hen bobbing & scratching for invisible morsels in the dirt. I also think the reason that Tiny walks like a newborn because he rarely plays, alone or with other young monkeys. He has no time for playing as he is always on the lookout for either something to eat or danger from other monkeys; therefore, his coordination is lacking and his muscles aren't as developed as other youngsters his age. I don't think he's "starving" but he probably rarely gets a full meal or a full tummy :( He reminds me of a monkey version of Oliver Twist except Tiny's not an orphan but his mum steals his food right out of his cheek pouches! Little street-smart Tiny is a very serious little monkey but then he has to be - his survival depends on it.

Wow Tiny looks a lot fuller and healthier now. IMO it's one of three things, either he just hit a growth spirt, his mum and aunt for whatever reason haven't been stealing his handouts/food out of his pouches, or because the weather is breaking into "peak" season and he has much more to forage on the daily (but if so, it must be back in the forest because there doesn't seem to be too much along the road/mountain since he's seen doing his routine licking up every morsel he can find OR unless more visitors are showing up because of the warmer weather and they are getting much more handouts through out the day that we don't see. That would mean they would be getting quite a bit if that were the case because it would mean Tiny's being able to keep much of his own share because his mum/aunt are content with what they got for themselves. Just a thought... Ps. Was that a piece of a plastic bag that Tiny was eating at the beginning? At first It look like he was licking it but then he took a big ole bite off of it and was chewing away. I hope not... As much as I love to see him and the others get a occasion treat "handout" I know better than that to say occasional because we know they get much more than we see everyday anyway, I just hope that the humans don't start over doing it esp. During the summer. That may sound mean but they now have plenty "healthier" things growing out there to forage on than handouts. Also, they end up becoming more dependent on goodies which will bring them closer to the roads/people etc. we don't need them jumping on cars every second. 😯

I'd like to see a side by side comparison of Tiny and Teeny at 7 months, I think Teeny is about half the size that Tiny was and THAT'S SMALL! sharon grissom He probably does heal more slowly but he does look like he’s gained a bit of weight and is “filling out” a bit so he’ll probably be fine very soon. If memory serves me, you follow JW. Remember when we 1st saw that wound? It was huge! I think Tina is also tending to it as we saw in a fairly recent video. I’m almost certain there is a leash law as it is a state park but as we’ve also seen the couple with the German Shepherd, it seems no one follows the leash law. :(

pretty Blackdragon The Agriculture, Fisheries an Conservation Department (AFCD) manages the parks and that includes Kam Shan Country Park and Golden Hill (AKA Monkey Hill is within the park) I am a dog lover and have had rescued dogs all my life. (They have rescued me LOL) I agree that dogs need a place to run free but this is not the place and there are other areas in the mid levels that have better places to walk your dog & there are even paths where no cars are allowed and one’s dog can run free. :)

The wound is healing slowly but surely. He needs more vitamin C and protein, the cell builders. It doesn't appear to be impeding him at all, but I agree he should be climbing more to find the natural food in the trees. He's in the habit of scrabbling around on the ground all the time. Tina does look after him, but I'm still kind of concerned that she won't nurse him. He's a little survivor.
