There would have been a lot of screaming, pleading, insults and finally the threats thrown at the tow truck driver. The real laugh comes when they refuse to leave and then Five O shows up. They still leave in one of two ways, on their own with their car or with silver bracelets and the vehicle still gets towed. Moral of the story is: Common sense is a whole lot cheaper

If you look at the middle console of the red SPARK, it runs on a rubber band. You twist the band every time you come to a stop sign or red light, then as the rubber band untwists, it propels you to the next stop sign or red light, where you wind it up again.

Absolutely love these videos. I drove a wrecker/tow truck 20+ years ago. Wish I had one of these at the time, but I know this is still mentally a tough job, especially when these people go to pick up their vehicles. It's always everybody's fault, but theirs. These drivers & the towing business owners deserve a lot more positive recognition than they get & I'm glad you're showing who's really at fault here for every single vehicle towed out of the lot there.

You can tell all the commenters must be from the US. Here in the UK, and most of Europe, leaving that amount of space between cars would be normal or even generous. Our roads and car parking spaces are much narrower. And people are generally more careful opening doors.

Problem is this isn't a good one. All 4 seats make (at least my) back ache quickly, the interior is very good for $13k but doesn't improve when you add $4k in options, its performance is nonexistent because it has 98HP, its fuel economy is mediocre, and there's almost no cargo space or rear legroom. The Honda Fit, Toyota Taris, and heck even Kia Rio are much better cars. More expensive? Yes. But I'd take a 4-year-old Honda Fit over a new Chevy Spark any day. It has 133HP, it handles very well, its cargo and passenger space is like that of a car twice its size, I average 36/41MPG city/highway in mine, and it has a pretty nice interior. I know you can live with 98HP just fine, from what I hear most Europeans do, but why do that when you can have more power AND better fuel economy? The problem with the Spark is it's the car for people who need to get to work with a warranty because they don't know how to used car shop without getting screwed, but Nissans and Kias do that while being better cars (not a high bar TBF). Yes, there's the long-term reliability concerns of the Nissan CVT, but I guarantee anyone who can be talked into a Spark would've been talked into the extended warranty at a Nissan dealer. And its not like Chevys are known for their quality either.
