This is perfect in every way except the chorus' chords... sorry to nit pick- as I'm a hardcore Elton John fan and a pianist and guitarist... just want to point out that in the chorus, the chords F and C/E are right but the two G's are incorrect. Piano wise, Elton plays G/A (A bass with G chord). Then, the Dm in the chorus is actually a Dm7... not many will notice or care, but for the real effect, Elton plays a lot of 7th chords in there and that special charm is missing when you take away the 7th.

That only took me about a year to learn how to play.......... But I'm a happy guy now, thanks to your lesson.. Thank you for sharing, had to slow down the tempo and play it in slow mo for a while, but it sank in. Gotta play it ever couple of months otherwise I forget it. lol.. that's what you have to look forward to at 65.

Thank you, Hooch. I didn't do it. There was a video with the "vocals-only" track, but it seems taken down. From the quality I'd guess it was a stem from the original multitrack recording. I think on those "Sing-Star" kind of games were multi-tracks and some people managed to extract the vocal-stems.
