I’ve been playing for 20 years and consider myself pretty accomplished but I have always struggled learning Elton John tunes. This is my favorite Elton song and this video made it super easy to learn and as always the teaching is top tier. Thanks for being the man Marty.

Marty hit a home run here. A cheating way i play it is just G to C7 for the beginning, but just hit the lower (bass) strings. Then A7 D7 G E7 A7 D7 Em. That is my campfire chord version. What a great video , as always.

im struggling to wrap my head around chord progression theory, what is the basics of the major key chords , a wheel of diagram that shows what the 1.4.5 .(6) are for each key, so if i want to start a 12// blues progression with a G as the 1 chord for example, how do i learn what the 4 and 5 chords should be? could you do a video on that? or link it in the reply?,
