Just pledged for the Deluxe game as well as the two additional maps. The game looks awesome. FF Tactics is one of my favorite video games and this looks to recreate that feel on a table top very nicely.

This looks awesome. I look forward to playing it! Seems like it might be one of the heavier Tiny Epic games, though. Very portable, but emphasis on the “Epic.” Just gotta make sure your friends aren't expecting something like Love Letter, I guess.

Game seems awesome, but I'd like to know if there's any variation in map? Or is it going to be the same every time you play? Because if that's the case, I think it's losing some of its potential.

They're doing two extra maps as expansions, with box covers to create desert and winter alternative set-ups. I guess that would also create opportunities for people to design their own maps. Plus the interiors of the boxes are dungeons, for solo and coop play.

I completely agree. I will only get this game if there is some variability to the board and the cards get updated. They are a little bland right now.

They're also using the inside of the boxes for a co-op dungeon crawl.
