These videos are so popular and enjoyable. I sell tickets at the front and so many people ask me when you'll have more tiny goat videos. I point out that the goats are adult goats now not babies and their new babies of course tell little about goat encounters. If you can it would be nice to see more animal behind the scenes videos it there greatly loved. Every keeper I meet is so sweet and in it to win it for animals! 😁

All zoos should implement "field trips" for species interactions. It's one of the few cases I can think of where a caged animal would get to experience something special they wouldn't otherwise in their natural habitat.

I love seeing these animals ! Ive noticed that after these type vids began, that Now other zoos are mimicking The first one that took penguins on a meet n greet .., was it Oregon ? Can’t remember .. but anyway , it’s still cute and cool to see , even for us lol. But just like humans tend to do , everyone’s mimicking the idea to do it .. don’t get me wrong , animals are awesome and I’m always up for watching Them haha 😆. Hopefully they’re able to be positively enriched and stimulated by all the new experiences, esp seeing animals they’d never have encountered before ! Next stop , bring everyone by my house ... my cat feels left out ..( ok , really it’s Bc I wanna see them but my cat is pretty involved in the decision 😂). Anyway , the animals are so precious ... I’d prefer without the commentary though ... I guess it’s fine for those who aren’t familiar with the various species behaviors and any insight / facts into their specific behaviors and info regarding things such as specific communication , cues etc. And insight into their environment and what not , so for that purpose I get it .. but those things aren’t new for me so I guess I’m just more interested in seeing the animals interact , rather than people on camera . Otherwise , it’s still a good video . Well done !!

How come that one goat has a strap around its mouth? What a fun job you guys have! You all seem so happy!
@christinecameron16126 жыл бұрын
That is a "Halter", like is used for horses only way smaller. It's just a little harness for the animal's head instead of the body, there's no cruelty in it at all. :-)
@lemurianchick6 жыл бұрын
The reason I was wondering is that the other goat didn't have one. I was curious if it prevents biting. I have seen dogs with a similar contraption and it seemed to be to prevent the mouth from opening.
@christinecameron16126 жыл бұрын
Oh you mean like a muzzle. No, it's not a muzzle, it doesn't stop her mouth from opening, she can munch leaves and drink water just fine :-) Ruth might be too petite to fit into a halter, she's on some kind of dog harness from the looks, but she is a VERY tiny goat It would be soooo cute if the girls had matching "outfits' of them hehehe

This is not just about seeing something new to those animals, but for anyone who has ever gone near their cages, it's more than anything else about smell 🐽 ! I haven't forgotten the smell of mountain goats at the zoo of my hometown when I was a child ! That of chimpanzees too ! Man is a visual creature, most of other animals, don't ❗

Can't believe animals like lemurs are in danger to dissapear when there are films that make literally millions of dollars because of them. I wonder how much money the film industry returns to protect the animals that appear in different films. And it is not only lemurs but also gorillas, whales, sharks, lions, you name it.

Award for Brigitte Bardot: Former France Actor Brigitte Bardot on Saturday received the Austrian My Way foundation award for her campaign for Animal Rights. The 67-year-old former sex kitten was handed the 10,000 euro prizat Hagenbrunn in the Vienna suburbs. "This prize is a reward for my 30 years fight" devoted to animal rights, she told journalists before lashing out at South Korea, co-host of the 2002 World Cup, where dog meat is popular among the population. "The animals are beaten to death so that the meat is more tender," protested Bardot, adding: "That cannot be a culture." AFP Courtesy: The Times of India Kolkata Monday,May 27,2002.
