Most powerful technique I learned from Jim Kwiks book is, *Learn with the intention of teaching to somebody else.* Iam a designer, and i have a community. Before I used to wander through articles and used to spemd just 5 minutes without deeply understanding it. Now I *imagine* that, my teacher(gary simon from "design course" youtube channel) told me that "read this article deeply, you've then come to my channel and need to teach it to the community". The moment i do this, my brain gets attentive. I read every paragrapgh carefully, taking good notes, understanding deeply so i can teach in the best way possible. This is such a powerful technique, I thank jim for what he is teaching :)

Just started reading the book! I just read where you say to write the phrase “I change best by feeling good, not by feeling bad” I want to stop eating carbs/sugar and I find that I often eat them for the comfort feeling of eating the food. How do I make not eating them become a feel good habit?!

Eating like that has a guilty feeling as well no? What if you ate food in correct portions that actually tasted good? Learning to cook healthy meals can be fun and the best part is what you eat comes with ZERO guilt. That would be my suggestion :) (replace the habit, maybe start with one meal a week and as mentioned below just go from there).

Having a chronic illness make forming habits hard. Bad days are habits/routines killers you can't keep up with everyday life because of the pain and or the tiredness.

Small steps, day in day out, tiny habits will create results in your personal life. Make it so easy that will be so silly not to do it. Remember the “why” and the “benefits” why you are doing what you are doing and this will give you some inspiration to be great and be limitless 👍👍👍👍👍 it’s possible thank you Jim and Doc!!!!! Great info here

A lot of people "get it" when he talks about beginning with "tiny habits", baby steps, etc. But for some reason, most people don't believe him about the "celebrating" being necessary to solidify the habit. They feel like it's somehow optional or extra fluff, that really it's repetition that carves the groove into the brain. It's really hard to unlearn that wrong "truth."
