You added if you weren't towing, you'd purchase a Promaster. I imagine you have done your research, so that's assisting me in the high top van I choose. Never thought Dodge was a contender...??? Better mileage is key, with being more spacious. Organization is very important to me. Everything must have its place, nicely structured, and user friendly. Lee nailed it!!! Impressive build. With your guidance Lee, I could certainly build my van. Standard hinge, continuous hinge, yeah, I'm listening and learning...cup magnets, steel washers, yes, I'm getting it. What a dream machine you have created. "Store it where you use it". You are so in my head. Brilliant mind. Multipurpose storage. Drop down doors, enabling the doors to be used as a table when taking items out. Open bedding storage to allow bedding to breathe. You're making me do a "Hallelujah dance". This build is Brilliant! Thanks Lee, thank you Jamie. You both have made this build for me doable, even on my own. I enjoyed this video. And even though I am not a builder, I am a creator, and I am convinced I can do this. As a designer and somebody that likes to build things himself as well, i would like to hit home that designing things like Lee has them takes time; i so relate to his, 'i stew on it for a while', on so many things that i've build and still want to build... and maybe this can be helpful for somebody thinking about building and not already having something to try things in. Well, you will likely have a place thought out to build thing in... Get a role of gaffer tape, and just tape out the inside measurement of your Van on the floor, do it near a wall and you can also tape off heights. You could theoretically already build the inside without even having a Van. But the idea here is to give you an easily adjustable 'mock up' with some tape to figure out what works for you (in processes), without having the actual things in place and boxes on mounted to get unhappy about ... A life-size sketch so to speak... and then stew on it, use that space every now and then (with just some regular pieces of furniture), figure out what works for you, so that once you actually get the Van, you already know how to lay it out... Ohw, and watch tons of tour videos, i have seen marvelous builds and all of them are full of different ideas and solutions to similar problems, so there are a ton of things you don't even have to come up with yourself, you just copy what you feel would work for you, and combine it to make your custom build. ;)
