As much as i want to watch every detail in this video, i just have to pause and comment upon hearing its name: Rasa Mahal. Mahal in Filipino means love. It's even a term of endearment. Alternatively, it could also mean expensive. But we don't say an expensive love but rather a priceless one. And this build is a testament to that.🤍

I’m getting started on my 2nd “tiny home”. My 1st tiny home was a 12x40 & I loved it; but life took me in a different direction, & I’m currently in a very typical 80’s style wood frame home. I’m fully intend on converting the regular house into my barn, garage & workshop after the new “tiny” is built. I keep putting tiny in quotes because it will not be on a trailer & even though it’ll be the same square footage as my 1st tiny, it’ll be twice as wide, half as long (20x24). Plus it will constructed below ground on 3 sides, & on a permanent concrete slab foundation with rebar reinforced concrete block walls, because I live in a very tornado prone area. I’ve only been here for 2 years & I’ve had 3 tornadoes touch down too close for comfort; thankfully leaving no home damage, but considerable yard debris. I really look forward to tiny home living again; not only because I loved it previously, but also because I don’t even use 3 rooms of my regular house for anything other than storage.

This is an amazing build. The attention to detail is awesome. Right down to the LED light strips recessed into the hardwood rafters and matching the bolts to the color of the plumbing. This something I would like to do in my home. The symmetry balances the design. I love the "gold" sink in the kitchen. The herringbone flooring is another detail that makes this home unique to you and it reflects the symmetry you intended. This is a home you and Rasa will enjoy for a long time to come. Well done! There are several elements (the alabaster lighting, illuminated sink, the ambient lighting) I plan to incorporate in the 1945 house (which I am in process of getting).
