At Heim + Handwerk 2019 (trade fair for home and craft), four tiny houses were exhibited in Hall A3, of which I personally liked the mini house presented here in this video report in terms of comfort and equipment. It comes from SE-Tinyhouses - a brand of PROJEKTA-SEN GmbH from Brandis near Leipzig (in Germany). Thomas Dannert from SE-Tinyhouses showed me and explained the mini house with its components in detail in an interview.
The video consists of the following sections:
00:00 Welcome and outside view of the tiny house
00:27 Manuela Wagner about the company
00:47 Thomas Dannert on dimensions and living space size
01:45 underfloor heating, air conditioning, wood stove
02:26 Kitchen with ceramic hob, refrigerator, washing machine
03:16 Equipment according to customer requirements
03:38 Wall thickness, wall structure
04:07 air conditioning, balcony, terrace
04:40 window with 4 + 6 mm glass
05:09 bedroom in the gallery
07:10 View from above into the living room
07:58 Sanitary area with shower 80x80 and water toilet
09:30 shelf with LED light bar

10:56 Where are the vehicles built?

13:12 goodbye
The outside of the Tiny House "TYH Typ PDV 840" including the drawbar is 10.10 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and a maximum of 3.98 meters high. The structure including the house connection technology room is 8.40 meters long and the actual tiny house has an external length of 8 meters. The wall structure is 8 cm thick and consists of a 9 mm plywood poplar board on the inside and a wooden facade on the outside.
This results in an interior usable area of just under 7.85 x 2.40 meters, i.e. 18.8 m² plus just under 1 m² for the house connection technology room. There is also a 3-meter-deep sleeping gallery with a width of just under 2.40 meters and a height of 1.04 meters at the entrance. In total, this mini house has a usable area of 27 square meters. The maximum interior height is 3.50 meters and in the area under the gallery 2.10 meters, i.e. in the entrance area, in the bathroom and in the kitchen.
The comfort of the tiny house exhibited at the fair is also impressive. It has underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove with a glass floor and an outside chimney and air conditioning that can also heat in winter. In addition, there are two solar panels (with a total of 600 watt peak) and a large awning in front of the entrance on this house, which was manufactured on customer request. The kitchen has a double ceramic hob, refrigerator and washing machine with integrated dryer. The bathroom has a shower measuring 80 x 80 cm, a conventional toilet and a washbasin. The three-meter-deep sleeping loft is designed for a double bed measuring 1.80 x 2 meters.
In my interview, Thomas Dannert from SE-Tinyhouses named me almost 62,000 euros including VAT as the total price for this Tiny House PDV 840 - with the comfort shown in this video, i.e. including underfloor heating, fireplace, air conditioning, solar system and much more. A flat rate of 1 euro per kilometer from the Brandis production site is specified for delivery to the mainland. The Tiny Houses are usually built within 4 weeks and you have to expect a delivery time of around three months after ordering.
Annotation:
The tiny house that can be seen in my video was a commissioned work that was delivered to their customer immediately after the Heim + Handwerk trade fair.
