Seems like a great service for those starting out who may not even know what they don’t know!

Yes! For sure. It's well-established and has a really solid community feel. Plus, Abby is really knowledgeable and willing to help/answer questions.

I remember seeing a video on her community. it seems very peaceful and unique! I own my own tiny house and hoping in a few years when I retire I can do the National Park tours. Maybe spend a year here and a year there just seeing the great US.!

That sounds like an amazing plan. I hope you find a peaceful place to park your tiny home. Best of luck on your journey! :)

@ Thank you! My hometown village of 120 that I grew up in approved me to place my THOW in it. I went to a board meeting Oct ‘23 and said I’d buy the hot mess double lot where a house & garage burned (Sept ‘22) the year before if they would let me live in it there. They approved me! The tiny was being built and was delivered Jan ‘24. I had to fully develop the utilities, tho. New septic/leech/curtain drain, water line/utility pole & electric, gravel pad/walkway/driveway. I moved into it July ‘24. I have a lot to do to my yard yet. I need a shed, and have more to sell/donate in storage. My steps are some blocks. But.. It’s mine!! I luv it!! I’m in N IL. I was supposed to go into a very small mobile home park with 8 trailers, til this happened. There are RV parks/resorts around here, but you can’t stay year round. Water is usually off Nov-March. I am truly blessed! Thanks for all you do for this movement, Mic!! 🏡✝️🇺🇸

@@RockchikPaula That's great. Surplus land goes up for sale every once in a while and I thought about offering to buy some in exchange for allowing a tiny house. This gives me hope.

@@kathyann9643 The worse they can do is say ‘No.’ So many have no clue of what they are. I went and explained the building process and that it isn’t a trailer (towns want the old ones scattered around gone and new ones in parks) . That a THOW isn’t a camper or park model. Explain not everyone wants 2000 sq ft. and you hope to retire without a huge mortgage yet. Want to enjoy life. My decision also had to do with my health. Among other things I am a chronic Lyme Disease sufferer. So I don’t want to feed the anxiety with high bills. Good luck!

I know this area well. It is spectacular. Peaceful. Quaint. Safe. Not too far from Harrisburg and Lancaster. Closest beach is Rehoboth. ? Can you put the newest 120 sq foot Boxable on a site. It is RV certified?
@smallspaces-fc3fi6 күн бұрын
You won't live long enough to ever see a 120 sq. ft. boxable ever go into production.

Beautiful countryside in that area. How far to the nearest WAWA? She'll know.
