I was waiting to do a full tour because my office and the yard are not done but at this rate, I'm not sure if they ever will be. Let me know what you think.

It always amaze me how in US this is considered a "tiny" house and here in EU this is standard size house. We usually have one bedroom, kitchen with living room, bathroom with toilet and one guestroom/child room. I have an appartment without guestroom with 56m2 and it consider a above standard in size over here. Anyway, this house is really nice also looking comfy for living. Good job!

Haha yeah I love room tours but a few weeks ago I saw one where a girl was like "yeah we got a European-style fridge, it's pretty small". It was still a bit bigger than most European fridges (especially for one person) but I do get it, if you compare it to the usual double door fridge and then the size of the kitchen it was really small😂 Edit: omg he literally has a normal fridge but calls it small lol. Ours is that big for 4 people
@RobbieHarless
@RobbieHarless 2 жыл бұрын
@@moongirl8807 what’s funny is now that I’ve got a double fridge it’s so big to me. The “small” fridge I had, which was a European brand, was plenty big. And I like the look of it a lot better.
@moongirl8807
@moongirl8807 2 жыл бұрын
@@RobbieHarless oh it was actually a European one? Haha makes sense. But honestly I really don't know how we fit all of our stuff in there and let me tell you, if I ever get my own house, I will get one of those double fridges too. I just love food haha😂

What a great tiny with attached garage. It’s a plus not having to crawl around like some other tiny homes. That backsplash is amazing. The bathroom is beautiful. Couldn’t help but noticed the dog matches the decor. Lol 😂 Next tour slow down a bit. The camera movements made me dizzy. Plus I want to take in all the details as well. Overall, outstanding job!

Looks great 👍 I think adding reflective window film on garage doors would be amazing. Make both of them match from the outside and not be able to see through from the outside. Indoor garage door hardware might look better painted black to match stairs. Embrace it. 👏 👏 👏 great small house !

If you are a reader or even for cookbooks, you could use the end of your steps on your stairs with book ends like a library! If you have room a patio outside of your garage door would help for when you have friends over, open the garage door and open up your space. You could buy screen door systems with flexible magnetic screens to keep the bugs out if you were worried about that.

Great job. One thing about your pantry. You really need pull out shelving. You may loose a tad of space but you will gain in organizing and frustration at finding everything. It’s a back hike and constantly digging and pulling things out. I’m still watching. FYI on outlets in the kitchen. You can do a running outlet track run up under your upper cabinets just in case you tackle another project in the future. I specialize in kitchens and you did great.
@RobbieHarless
@RobbieHarless 2 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more. It's funny because I put the most effort into the kitchen and it's still not perfect. You cant really know what you're missing until you live without it. Kitchens are so expensive too. Next time, I'll be even more particular with my kitchen. There will be plenty more projects in the future.

@@RobbieHarless glad to hear your well after the tragic storm. Love your home! A little hack/design tip on using privacy curtains for your glass garage door - add two more curtain panels. Rule of thumb: you’ll want double the width of curtain per width of window. This way they scrunch together and give much more privacy and don’t look stretched to their max when extended.

I think your space is nice but I could see where you would want to make some adjustments to your space. I live in 570 sq ft, and my kitchen is 7 ft long (one side only) and I have a 2 burner electric cooktop & a counter top oven. I don’t know about you but I wish there were better companies that make specific things for us tiny dwellers. Like nice looking stove top hood vents, or built in oven/hood vent options in a 20” size. Or a really good looking fridge that’s an apartment size. Like a smaller version of your Fisher Paykel. Or a sofa with a size in between a regular sofa and a love seat. I have so many ideas now that we’ve gone tiny/small. Multifunctional furniture that isn’t like playing a game of Tetris. Nice looking small dining tables that have good storage and does’t look like it belongs on a farm. Enjoy that home it’s going to allow you a ton of freedom. I wish I had bought tiny long ago. 🥰
