You always get the best volatile kittens! I only had one particular rescue that hissed at me. He was just about the size of these babies you have here. Of course, after eating and making biscuits, he decided not to continue his efforts to frighten me away. That was 4 years ago, and he has been the best little companion I could have ever hoped for. Kitten mobility is limited, thats why they develop this behavior as countermeasure to scare off intruder that they can't physicly run fast enough from. Household born kittens see humans as part of there envriament, but if something odd would apper they would hiss same way. You can see similar behavior in spiecies that born immobolized, specially birds.
