I've been cursed as a bream buster and can never catch big fish, but this series is helping me realize that bluegills, crappie, and sunfish are just as fun and wonderful as the big monsters! I've got the size 3(1.5") of both the Countdown and the Original Floating. Trout hit them harder than any other freshwater fish strike anything.

i love the 1,1.5, 2 inch rapalas. all species hit them, even in saltwater. raplala scatter rap is probably my favorite lure for pike, walleye and bass

If you haven't done a heddon mini torpedo I think you'd have a TON of fun with it. They seem pretty versatile, you can pop them, chug them, even just straight reel them in like a buzzbait. I have a giant pond behind my house and I've caught pretty much everything except catfish on that little guy. Big fish love it too, just make sure you have a set of long pliers and some sprite haha.

Tips for fishing a cove of a reservoir with fish? Have tried senkos, bjzzbaits, spinners, cut shad, nightcrawlers, crankbaits, all no luck. I see fish jumping all the time!

The Hula Popper is a bass lure, great for early morning when they are hitting bugs off the top, the bumblebee is a crappie and panfish lure, but of course, a bass will eat anything.

Try Berkely Mice Tails. It's a classic topwater bait for trout, but I'm sure other species will strike it too.

Using a Fly Rod for Bass the Bumble Bee ( with rubber legs ) is a killer. The smaller version of the Bumble Bee is good for both Bass or Bream. It's almost but not quite as good as a Brown Spider ( foam body ) with rubber legs is on Bream. I never leave home when going fishing without out several of each.

White Crappie. They will have the vertical stripe patterns and the Black Cappie will have random spots.

white crappie have vertical stripes that are usually pretty faint...black crappies look more speckled and they're typically darker

You should use the rebel crickhopper. It is a small cricket crank bait and it works so well, I've been use of it my whole life and it works so well and catches some big fish too.

You should try a rooster tail next time. It's not really that interesting of a bait, but it's small. Great video as always Nick!

I don't know how available they are in the states, but Angler's Republic have some very very small hardbaits. One in particular is only 34mm/ 1 1/4" long. Also, Reins have some hecking small craws you might want to look at!

I have that bumble bee!!! You can even let it sit on top of the water, take a couple cranks let it go back to the surface, nice video with multiple species and those blue gill were massive!

I use a hula popper usually early in the morning and I also have that mini hula popper but I think it's more of a frog color. I've caught gills and crappie on the mini also caught a gill on the full size and the bait was almost as big as the fish

I have had some of my best luck on bass and bluegill on poppers. But one day, while on saltwater flats I decided to put my Heddon Lucky 13 frog colored popper on and caught the largest doormat flounders I ever caught in my entire life.
