The one time the goofy tractor like engine sounds actually fits!

It's cool! I will give you a piece of advice: in order for the stoichiometry to always be at zero, you need to make sure that the ratio of air to fuel is (14 + clamp(t/100), 0, 100) : 1 where t is the temperature of the engine. That is, the amount of air should always be 14 times greater than fuel at 0 degrees, and 15 times more at 100 degrees. Also sorry for the machine translation of this comment.

For all this to work, you need to take the composite from the engine, take the volume of air from it, and divide it by 14 + t / 100. The resulting number is the required amount of fuel, and this number is our goal. Set up the PID regulator so that it works only for the integral part, connect our number to the setpoint, and connect the fuel reading from the engine to the process variable. The resulting number at the output of the PID regulator should be between 0 and 1. This number is our coefficient, which is simply multiplied by the number from the air valve. And as a result, we got a number for the fuel valve! In this scheme, the engine can be controlled through a pid regulator installed on the air valve, and the fuel valve, depending on the temperature and stoichiometry of the engine, will always adjust to zero stoichiometry automatically. Sorry for the machine translation, perhaps you do not understand what I wrote.

This scheme is needed for the operation of a supercharger installed in the form of any pump on an air valve. In this case, the engine power is almost doubled.

To make it clearer: there are 2 pid regulators in this scheme: the first pid regulator controls the engine power directly, namely the air valve, and the second - the fuel valve.

@@Lizard_Leon hey Lizard. I tried making a ECU using a PID to control the AFR but I failled. can you post your version on workshop?

Since gastank vents are usually in the filler neck iirc, wouldn't it make sense for the hose anchors to act as a relief valve?

A long time ago a made a great skid steer model, very compact and I had tank controls similar to how a real skid runs. I was super proud of it. Some how though either in an update or a computer issue on my end I lost all my saved things. Super sad.

I seen videos of Lamborghini's in stormworks i don't know how they fit the engine thank you for this video 🔥

Could you help me because when i try to select a block it just doesn't work and idk why i already tried resetting my controls and it just wont do it

How about a hose anchor with gas relief? There could be two hose anchors with one being liquid tight and the other being gas (and liquid) tight?

I definitely need some help when it comes to making these engines actually produce any power… 😂

if only there were modular fins you can attach to the mod engines to wick away the heat. Like motorcycles.
