Nice! Think I need more noice in my case.

I have a similar noise source. Love running the rumble through a slew limiter for a variable smooth random voltage.

I’ve had Krach in my case for days. It’s just there and always ready. Can’t beat that!

Absolutely. It’s a great little tool for its size

10 bucks for a brush... i just went to the hardware store and bought a smaller brush for painting(2 bucks), little bit smaller for the more tight spots between the knobs. love youre channel by the way, learning a lot here about eurorack. keep it up!

yeah it's no different than really any brush it seems. I wish it was a bit smaller but it does make for quick work I guess? it got me to the free shipping threshold and with enough modular manufacturers closing down I don't mind paying Befaco a few bucks on something thats hopefully decent margin and easy production for them.

@@thismeanswarbasse understandable, for me its just: i know the modular hobby we have is expensive, but the modular world also knows this and makes full use of it, some things are just really overpriced, just way to overpriced, the best example is in the cases or stands you can buy. 3 to 500 dollars for 2 pieces of alloy... really...? on the other hand, it makes people like me more creative, i just build my own stuff from what ever i can scavage, what makes it fun!

Never thought to modulate with noise, I'll give it a shot

I’ve found it to be really nice on the cutoff of a filter too. Both in extreme and subtle uses, each with a very different character

Setting the autofocus to manual and increasing the aperture would help with the focus issues.

Yeah I swapped to manual focus at 4:55, but I wanted the auto until then so I could hold things closer to camera. It still was doing too much random adjusting of other settings and making things briefly over exposed so I’ll have to lock those values too

As a German speaker, you won’t enjoy me pronouncing “Krach” the way it should be pronounced. Let me just say it sounds like the most awful chrhhhhhhh noise. I mean, it literally just means “loud noise” 😅
@thismeanswarbasse

Oh that’s a lovely chhhhhhh sound though! Hurts my throat to attempt it most of the time. Since Ritual Electronics is French, I didn’t even consider it could be a German pronunciation but that makes complete sense with what it means

I was always disappointed when the reel to reel tape machines would wobble (jitter) the sound, spend all day calibrating so it wouldn’t. Now you kids spend thousands of dollars to get that sound 😂

"Whatever you now find weird, ugly, uncomfortable and nasty about a new medium will surely become its signature. CD distortion, the jitteriness of digital video, the crap sound of 8-bit - all of these will be cherished and emulated as soon as they can be avoided. It’s the sound of failure: so much modern art is the sound of things going out of control, of a medium pushing to its limits and breaking apart. The distorted guitar sound is the sound of something too loud for the medium supposed to carry it. The blues singer with the cracked voice is the sound of an emotional cry too powerful for the throat that releases it. The excitement of grainy film, of bleached-out black and white, is the excitement of witnessing events too momentous for the medium assigned to record them." Brian Eno, A Year With Swollen Appendices

M_orcan’s reply (and maybe Brian Eno quote that I didn’t know about) is better said than anything I’d write
