why do all your films make me cry?

Because that's the beauty of animation ; capture emotions; share them to us. That's what people do in Animation or graphic design and any kind of arts. With "a little tip".

I cried in the part when he paints his cheeks with mud, takes the needle and... the sound of baby cries. A little one that wasn't prepared for the loss and filled the pain with blinding vengeance or hate.

I... Love this so much? I mean I always love student films because of the animation style and the concept that "I could do this one day.." and just how much heart is put into them, honestly. They take you on such journeys that are so meaningful and each one presents a different slice of life that the creator is trying to reflect to you from their own almost They can tell entire stories in 5 minutes that are almost better than real full length movie stories And yours did exactly that.. All of that. Nothing really has ever really driven me to tears as fast as this just did and honestly I'm stunned and amazed. Thank you for making this. I hope that one day I'll be able to make something as beautiful as this and produce these same feelings in someone else like you have in me.

Such eye-catching art and amazing story! Great job! This story tells about forgiving and strength. Even though it's a 5-minute film, it's like it showed a huge heartfelt storyline! I'd like to see more of this :)

IMNOT CRYINGBYOUR CRYING SHUT UP Seriously, though, I remember watching this FOREVER ago, but it still hits HARD in the feels. The body language is spot on, the cinematography is crisp and beautifully laid out, and the character designs are just so perfect. I will never fail to bawl my eyes out watching this, never ever.

No audio but you can easily tell what's happening. The mouse's father loves his son dearly and enjoys picking with him while hunting to provide for his family, and his mother is loving housewife that tries to show him kindness is something we all beings need.

I've watched three of your films in the last 3 years, and I loved them, I cried tears of happiness, it didn't matter how many times I hit the replay button. This one and Crayon Dragon were my favorites and still are. I didn't realize they were all your animations! Man I totally admire you! I want to start animating and someday become at least 1/3 of great as you. Keep up the good work, your films are masterpieces!
@alobowithadhd61912 жыл бұрын
You say that this is one of your least liked films, but it still tells a story in a language so beautiful, yet never utters a single word. A story so beautiful, those who observe it melt at someone who rights their wrongs, and learns to trust. All without a single word spoken, and in the span of under 10 minutes. You know you’re wrong. Don’t forget about the one at the heart of it. Where it all started. Without you, this wouldn’t have existed. But because it does, you can be certain that more like you will follow in your footsteps. Keep your passion, forget the deadlines. Ignore those who scold you, learn from your achievements, no matter how small. Fortune will follow those who are passionate about their craft. There is no need to put Fortune first.

yeah I don't get it, the mom the same character in both timelines was the death in the flashback a metaphor for the current timeline which is why he's alone at the end, because the second time, but also the first time. how does he get separated from the group at Large? also you kind of ripped off How to Train Your Dragon two with the big mean Scorpion and the mom doing the whole thing then her ostensibly dying when the dad comes to attack. that's the plot of how to train drain your dragon two, that's like the exact scene beat for Beat.

+Kirstendabunny All my stuff has been in someone else's channel because I refused to upload my film years ago! I'm pretty bummed out that its had to happen that way, but I do need their uploads there due to visa reasons (They have higher views, so it can look good for my visa application if I apply for the temporary worker's permit in the US) so I guess I'm alright with it for now!
@Floopsydabunny9 жыл бұрын
Ahh that sucks. I wonder if if you contacted the channels who had it uploaded, they would be willing to credit you and direct traffic to your channel at least? I'd think so, and it's worth a shot.
@TonikoPantoja9 жыл бұрын
I tried to on one of them - but he hasnt responded and it has like over a million views. Its hard because I need that thing up to be online for visa reasons - but it sucks that someone is monetizing my work like that. Oh well!

@ThePalatineHill3 жыл бұрын
i can't say that this animation worked for me, the message in it seemed a bit hamstrung especially considering how it pit being kind as a morality verses hunger/starvation and fear (if you're starving and alone in the wild all morality goes out the window for good reason - you die otherwise especially if you give away your food in the process). plus some of the animations were over the top (the scorpion at the end showed way too much emotion, would have been more poignant if the scorpion ran away the moment it spotted the mouse and lead to the mouse following it back into a burrow or something to give it food)
