Tiny Off-Grid Camper Sleeps 4 People! | Start-to-Finish Build of a 1978 VW Bus

Building a Volkswagen camper van from scratch. For my 30th birthday, my parents handed down this 1978 VW bus. It holds a lot of memories for me, so to give it the love it deserves, I’m rebuilding the camper setup from the ground up. This video is most of that build.

Fantastic build! The new sink pump and extra counter space are huge practical upgrades. The solar/battery system is the perfect modern touch to your classic, simple camper. Your parents are definitely going to steal Frog back from your driveway once you get that passenger seat swiveling. You’ll be relegated to the loft bed once again.

FYI, that huge hole you drilled at the bottom of the van / floor of the van, you might want to add a "water strainer" to fit the opening so small animals can's sneak into the van. i.e. mice. Just a suggestion.
