Judge Caprio is one of the most level headed judges I have ever seen. He uses the law to help those that need it, and when someone violates the law he can be heavy handed if needed. That is what a good judge always does. Judge Caprio 2 thumbs up sir!

Judges and court officers are people too. In most jurisdictions judges are the "CEO" of their court. Judge Caprio is maintaining a good working environment in his "workplace" by injecting a bit of levity. Obviously, Judge Caprio has learned more than just a thing or two over the years of his work experience!

I practiced law for 30 years. There use to be many judges just like this judge. The reason we all loved them was because they were old school from another time and place. They treated you with respect and did the right thing. Sadly they retire just like he will some day only to be replaced by the new younger breed of judge who make it about themselves and impose their authority over you just because they can.

I never met any. Most traffic courts I've been to are revenue streams for the court. No tickets are dismissed. This is NOT typical courtroom behavior in my experience. I'm going back 60 years.

I went to traffic court in New London CT. My Brother in Law who was a lawyer told me I was on my own, he couldn't or wouldn't represent me because the Judge was crazy. He was, I wish it had been Judge Caprio instead!

Meanwhile, an average looking, surly girl, living with her parents gets all the attention she wants when she goes out on the town. If I could go back to being a young man, I doubt I could take it.

I can't help noticing the human touch from Mr Judge Caprio. In this case, he seemed truly interested by the woman originally from New Orleans but it looks like she is a very private person. Right after the dismissing, she left with a quick thank. At least we learned about the red dress code in New Orleans ^^
